Alessandro Asperti joined Cubico in 2015 and currently leads operations in Italy and Greece. He oversees transaction origination, M&A structuring, and execution, while also driving development activities and expanding Cubico's project pipeline in the region.
With deep experience in project finance and managing equity investments in energy and infrastructure, Alessandro has been instrumental in the region's growth. Before joining Cubico, he was Head of Santander's Asset & Capital Structuring team in Italy, served as Head of Finance at Enfinity, and worked in project finance at GE Capital and Intesa San Paolo.

Camilo Toro Gomez joined Cubico in 2019 and serves as the Country Manager for Colombia, overseeing regional operations, including, HSE, O&M, construction, financial, legal, and M&A/O&E support.
With over 15 years of experience in project management, business development, and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts, Camilo has a proven track record of driving performance and growth in the energy sector.
Prior to his current role, he was a senior asset manager at Cubico, optimizing operations and performance. Before joining Cubico, he led business development and O&M management across Brazil and South America as Head of Business Development at Steag Energy Services (Iqony).
Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, Camilo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.

As Chief Operating Officer, Chris is responsible for leading Cubico's HSE, construction, asset management and IT activities, as well as overseeing Cubico's global procurement and technical teams.
Having worked within the energy sector for over 25 years, Chris has extensive experience in developing, constructing and operating renewable power projects, and has a keen focus on delivering innovative and sustainable ways to maximise their long-term value.
He has held numerous senior roles in his career working across both conventional and renewable power generation technologies in Europe and Africa, recently at PE-backed power businesses, Lekela and Globeleq.
Chris holds a BSc. In Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham.

Chris Ireland is responsible for leading the Greenfield and Renewables investment mandate for Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan's (Ontario Teachers') Infrastructure team. Chris led Ontario Teachers' investments into Anbaric Development Partners and STEM, Inc., and other innovative ways to invest in and support the transition to low carbon energy. He has served as a board member on a number of infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Chris was an investment banker, a project developer for fossil and renewable power projects, and an engineer for a large EPC company.

David Smith joined Cubico in 2015 and leads our Australian team, overseeing our project developments and asset management spanning the full lifecycle.
With over 15 years of experience within the energy and infrastructure sector, David's expertise spans across project development, construction, origination and asset management.
Previously, David was Head of Southern Europe at Cubico, leading a significant expansion of people and assets across the region. Prior to this, headed Santander's Asset & Capital Structuring team in Australia, following director-level M&A roles at ABN AMRO and leadership at an independent power producer.
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW.

David is Chief Executive Officer of Cubico and has ultimate responsibility for the execution of the company's strategy and day-to-day management reporting to the Board. Previously, he was responsible for managing Cubico's business in the EMEA region, and has been with the company since its formation in 2015 when he joined as part of the original senior management team.
With more than 30 years in the infrastructure and structured finance sectors across the globe, David brings a broad experience of investment in the equity and debt markets to the company. The earlier part of his career was spent advising multinational corporations and governments in structuring complex financing transactions before heading up global asset structuring at one of Europe's largest banks.

David Vachon is a Director within the Infrastructure Investments group at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), based in Montreal. Bringing over 15 years of industry experience, David previously held roles in the investment banking division of a leading Canadian financial institution, where he covered power, utilities, and additional sectors. His background also includes positions in equity research and with a prominent Canadian hedge fund. Since joining PSP Investments in 2024, David has concentrated on capital deployment and investment management, primarily within the energy and transportation industries.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University's John Molson School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the Goodman Institute of Investment Management at Concordia University.

James Hanson is a Director on the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), based in London. As a member of the Greenfield & Renewables group he focuses on energy transition related investment opportunities across Europe. James joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015 in Toronto and over his tenure has worked on a variety of infrastructure asset classes in geographies across the globe. He has been involved in a number of direct investments into platforms such as Equis Development, Mahindra Susten and ACES Delta. James has also held asset management responsibilities across these platforms. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', James was with Macquarie Capital based out of Calgary.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Javier Perez del Castillo joined Cubico in 2017 and leads our operations in Uruguay, where he focuses on delivering strategic initiatives to strengthen our position as the country's leading private clean energy business.
With over 15 years of experience in structured finance, risk analysis, and sustainable investments, Javier has played a key role in advancing renewable energy projects across Latin America.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Latin America Origination & Execution at Cubico, leading on the delivery of major investment projects. Prior to that, he was Vice President of US Origination & Execution, where he contributed to the growth of our US business.
Javier holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de Montevideo.

Jens-Peter Saul has broad international management and leadership experience based from various executive positions within the engineering & consulting as well as energy industries. He has held several international management positions within Siemens Energy including the position as President and CEO of Siemens Wind Power. Jens-Peter joined Ramboll as Group President and CEO in 2012. Since then, Jens-Peter has transformed the company into a global player in the Engineering and Consulting Industry. An achievement for which he was awarded European CEO of the year by the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACE) in 2017.

José Canales joined Cubico in 2018 and leads our Iberian operations, overseeing the management and operation of our solar PV, CSP, and onshore wind projects in the region.
With extensive experience in renewable energy asset management, José has worked across Europe and the Americas, working across a range of disciplines from project origination and construction to operational management.
Before joining Cubico, José served as Country Head of Poland and Romania at EDP Renewables and held similar roles in South Africa.
José holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and a Master's in Finance and Renewable Energy from Carlos III University in Madrid.

Lucas leads Cubico's UK business, where he oversees the strategy, growth and performance of our onshore wind, solar PV and battery‑storage portfolio.
Since joining Cubico in 2015, he has held roles across Latin America and Europe, including Head of Investment Analysis & Strategy and Head of Portfolio Management & Strategy. In these positions he evaluated worldwide investment opportunities, shaped capital‑allocation decisions as a member of the Investment Committee and introduced governance and risk frameworks that enhanced company‑wide valuation and strategic planning.
Lucas brings more than 18 years' experience in infrastructure investing, structured finance and banking. Before Cubico, he worked at Banco Santander and Banco BBM in Sã o Paulo, Madrid and London, focusing on structured finance, capital markets and project acquisitions in the energy sector.

Maria Morsillo is a member of the Infrastructure's Value Creation & Analytics team in Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), which has a broad mandate to assist in value creation activities across the Infrastructure & Natural Resources Portfolio. In the past, she has held numerous board positions such as at Birmingham Airport, GCT Global Container Terminals, Saesa and Express Pipeline. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers' in 2006, Maria was a Corporate Development Manager at Canadian National Railway and worked at CH2M Hill, a large environmental engineering consulting firm.
Maria is also the Chairman of the Remuneration and HSE committees for Cubico.

As Chief Financial Officer, Matt has responsibility for Cubico's finance, treasury, tax, investment oversight, insurance, markets analysis, internal audit and risk management functions.
He has 20 years of international experience in the energy, infrastructure and renewables sectors, and his areas of expertise include financial accounting and analysis, business development, treasury, corporate financing, insurance and energy markets risk management.
Prior to joining Cubico, Matt held various senior positions within the ENGIE Group across Australia, France and the UK, including Chief of Staff to the ENGIE Group CFO and CFO for ENGIE's Australian joint venture operations with Mitsui.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Olga is General Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs at Cubico. She is responsible for strategically guiding board governance and all legal and compliance activities, as well as overseeing the human resources and communications functions. She is also Group Company Secretary and Chair of the ESG Committee.
With more than 25 years of international experience in the financial and infrastructure sectors, Olga has advised on financings and investments in diverse regions of the world and across various sectors and asset classes. Her expertise extends to corporate affairs, talent development, governance and managing legal risks within global businesses.
Previously, Olga was Global Head of Legal for Credit & Transactional banking at Santander and held several senior legal roles at Santander both in London and Madrid.
Olga holds an English law degree from the College of Law, an MA Spanish law degree from the UAM, Madrid, and a certificate in Sustainable Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Osvaldo Rance joined Cubico in 2015 and is responding for heading our Mexican office, managing our operational projects and driving the growth of our development portfolio in the country.
Osvaldo Rance brings extensive experience in renewable energy investments across Mexico and Latin America.
Before joining Cubico, he served as Managing Director of Balam Fund I, which focused exclusively on renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in Mexico. Prior to that, he led Santander's Asset & Capital Structuring team in Mexico.
Osvaldo holds a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and an MBA from NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Patrick Gut is a Senior Director in the Infrastructure Investments group at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). Patrick has over 10 years of experience in the investment industry having previously worked in the investment banking division at a leading Canadian bank covering power and utilities among other sectors. Since joining PSP Investments in 2017, Patrick has been focused on capital deployment and investment management mainly in the energy sector and is currently also on the Board of FirstLight Power, a wholly-owned platform that owns and operates clean energy infrastructure in North America.
During his 35-year career in the power industry, Paul has served as CEO and director of a number of power-related organisations across the globe, including AES Corporation, American Capital Energy & Infrastructure, Globeleq and Hygo Energy Transitions.
He currently serves as a director on the boards of several energy and infrastructure companies, including Excelerate Energy, BMR Energy, Globeleq, Iv3 Aqua and the Infrastructure Acceleration Fund of Africa 50.

Priscilla Davies has over 25 years of experience in financial services across a range of sectors including asset management, infrastructure, renewables and alternative investments. During her executive career Priscilla held various senior positions at Janus Henderson and was Managing Director of the Private Equity business. She is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of UBS Asset Management UK Ltd and Sterling ISA Managers Ltd. Priscilla is Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Priscilla is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee for Cubico.

Tony Poulter is one of the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) nominees to the Cubico Board. He is also on the Boards of the UK Department for Transport and the UK Green Infrastructure Platform. He was previously the Senior Independent Director at the Green Investment Bank and Chairman of the Pension Infrastructure Platform. He was a partner in PwC for many years and led its businesses in Project Finance, then Asia-Pacific Advisory and finally Global Consulting.

Vasileios Grivas joined Cubico in 2020 and is responsible for the management of our Greek asset portfolio and project pipeline.
He brings a detailed knowledge of the in-country market and extensive experience in operations and asset management roles for solar, wind and small hydro projects.
Vasileios was previously an Operations Manager at Terna Energy, managing their portfolio of wind and PV projects in Greece and the United States. Prior to this, Vasileios worked at Enel Green Power where he held maintenance and performance engineering roles.
He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Strathclyde University and a Masters in Renewable Energy from University of Loughborough.
