NMJN ACCOUNTANTS - Key Persons
Evie is our trainee accountant who is currently studying AAT at college. She will be starting level 3 in September and has decided to do her payroll qualification at the same time to increase her skills. She likes walking in the Peak District with her family and dog and to keep herself fit she goes to the gym. When not working or exercising she likes cooking and going shopping with friends.
Michaela is one of our accountants who started working at NMJN Accountants in December 2019. She is AAT qualified and has had 4 years experience working with us and in industry. Michaela works with sole traders and smaller limited companies doing accounts preparation, and VAT. She has two children who keep her very busy and when she is not in work she enjoys family time with them and her dog.

Michelle worked for 23 years at HMRC before leaving in 2010 to set up her own accounting practice. She lectured accountancy for 12 months at the local college before concentrating on building up her business. She is now senior accountant at NMJN Accountants (accountants in worksop) and Director at Tax Smart (UK) Limited her tax consultancy business based in Chancery Lane, London. Michelle has had years of experience in tax and is now concentrating on helping tax payers fight HMRC at Tax Tribunals. Michelle prepares the statement of case, tribunal bundle and witness statements for the Tribunal and will represent taxpayers at First Tier Tax Tribunals. She has also worked alongside Keith Gordon from Atlas Tax at a tribunal in Manchester.
When not in work Michelle enjoys cooking and walking with the family spaniels. With the family she enjoys walking/hiking around the local area and beyond in the Peak District.
Susan is our senior accountant at NMJN Accountants Worksop who started with us in March 2017. Susan has a degree in mathematics and is ACCA qualified. She has the accolade of achieving the highest score in the world with 92% in her tax exam. She has over 22 years experience in an accountancy practice environment and works with sole traders, limited companies and partnerships. Susan enjoys walking and playing netball in her spare time.
Thomas is one of our trainee accountants who is currently studying AAT at college. He enjoys working with figures and has A levels in Maths and Further Maths which helps Thomas when he works with NMJN Accountants clients on their book-keeping and VAT preparation. In his spare time he likes to repair and restore old tools and clocks and he enjoys learning restoration methods to keep these skills alive.
