The MegaCentre Rayleigh is an Essex-based, Christian charity which exists to bring joy, hope and life to the whole community. We believe that life is precious and that every child and young person should have the best opportunities to grow, learn, contribute and thrive in society and that every family should have access to the support that they need to live full lives... The Megacentre is wholly owned by a registered charity - Active Christian Trust (Reg. No. 1015452). The charity was set up in 1992 with the purpose of opening the Centre as a Youth and Community facility for the benefit of the community. From the outset, it was recognized that income would need to be generated to pay all the expenses and staffing of the building including especially our Family & Community Team. The Centre was first opened in April 1994 with the Megazone Laser Arena and the Youth Centre.
