The Earthquake Engineering Field Investigation Team (EEFIT) is a joint venture between industry and universities, conducting field investigations following major earthquakes.By getting involved in our Regional Groups, committees, panels, study groups, you can grow and share your knowledge, and develop valuable new networks... We are committed to making the structural engineering profession more accessible. We are constantly reviewing our routes to membership to provide flexibility in the process, offering more choice for all our candidates... The Institution was originally founded in 1908 as the Concrete Institute. Since 1922 we have been known as the Institution of Structural Engineers.
