Dr. Brett E. Casey has been a member of the Houma Orthopedic Clinic since 2004. In 1994, he completed his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. He obtained his medical degree in 1999 from Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Casey's orthopedic residency was completed through Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center, with rotations through Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Olin E. Teague Veterans Center and the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
Dr. Casey received his Orthopedic Board Certification in 2006. He has completed courses in anterior total hip replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, treatment of the athlete's knee, repair of the throwing shoulder, as well as numerous other continuing medical education courses. He is proficient in minimally invasive knee replacement. Dr. Casey is currently on staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center, St. Anne's Hospital in Raceland, Gulf Coast Surgical Center and Physicians Surgical Specialty Hospital.
Dr. Christopher E. Cenac, Jr. is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and completed a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Spine Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Louisiana Orthopedic Association, Terrebonne Parish Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Association and the North American Spine Society.
Dr. Cenac obtained his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1999. He graduated, in 1995, with a B.S. degree in Biology from Sewanee, the University of the South. He studied abroad at St. John's College in Cambridge, England in 1994. He completed his general surgery residency at Christy Hospital in 2000. His orthopedic residency training was done in Mobile, Al at the University of South Alabama Medical School.
Dr. Cenac's focus in spinal surgery is adult deformity, degenerative cervical and lumbar surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Cenac is on staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center, St. Anne's Hospital in Raceland, Gulf Coast Surgical Center and Physicians Specialty Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Geoffrey P. Stone specializes in open and arthroscopic Shoulder, Elbow, and Sports Medicine surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College with a B.S. in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2009. Dr. Stone completed his orthopaedic residency at University of South Alabama Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2014, during which he had the privilege of training under Dr. James Andrews for his sports rotation. After residency, he completed an ASES (American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons) accredited fellowship in Tampa, FL at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, training under world renowned physicians: Dr. Mark A. Frankle and Dr. Mark A. Mighell. Following his fellowship, Dr. Stone completed additional shoulder training in France with Dr. Philippe Collin, Dr. Laurent Lafosse, and Dr. Pascal Boileau learning advanced arthroscopic techniques.
As an expert in the field of shoulder surgery, Dr. Stone has published several book chapters, as well as several Pubmed reference journal articles regarding shoulder surgery. In 2015, he received two nominations for the prestigious Charles S. Neer Award as a result of his research.
Dr. Stone is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Alabama Orthopaedic Society. He is currently on staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center, St. Anne's Hospital in Raceland, Gulf Coast Surgical Center and Physicians Specialty Surgical Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Stone enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and golf.
Dr. Sina Pourtaheri, MD. is a fellowship-trained board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon who is currently seeing patients in our Houma and Morgan City offices. Dr. Pourtaheri is a native of New Orleans. He attended medical school at Tulane University, completed his residency at Seton Hall and his spine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He is passionate about new developments in spine surgery. He has authored over 45 journal articles; 4 book chapters and speaks regularly in the spine surgery circuit. Dr. Pourtaheri's interests include: Shotokan Karate, snowboarding, playing the violin and running. He also founded the Tulane medical outreach to Romania program. Dr. William H. Kinnard has been in practice with Houma Orthopedic Clinic since 1984. Dr. Kinnard received his board certification in Orthopedic Surgery in 1986. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Kinnard is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Louisiana Orthopedic Association, Terrebonne Parish Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Association.
Dr. Kinnard graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in June of 1979 and completed his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He then completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery through LSU where he was chosen to be Chief Resident from 1983-1984.

Dr. H. Lawrence Haydel, II received his orthopedic board certification in 1998. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1986. He attended Louisiana State University Medical Center and earned his medical degree in 1990. Dr. Haydel completed his general surgery residency at Ochsner Medical Foundation Hospital in 1991. In 1996, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL.
Dr. Haydel is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Louisiana Orthopedic Association, Terrebonne Parish Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Association. Paige Martinez Bascle graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nicholls State University in May 2014, and subsequently received her board certification in June of 2014. She worked as a registered nurse at Terrebonne General Medical Center as a medical/post-op surgical nurse until she went back to school in 2016 for her Master of Science in Nursing at Nicholls State University. She went on to receive her orthopedic certification and began working at Gulf Coast Orthopedics in July 2017 as a registered nurse. She graduated from Nicholls State University with her Master of Science in Nursing in December 2018 with a family nursing practitioner concentration. She received her board certification in December 2018 from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Paige is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Xi Zeta national honor society and the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses.
