MATALLOY COMPANY

Matalloy Company Limited is a Zambian company established in 1972. In 1991 the company started manufacturing of Calcium Carbide. The 2.5MVA furnace was converted for the production of Ferro Alloys with primary focus on the production of Ferro Silicon and Silico Manganese. The production capacity increased further from 2012 by installing another 6.0MVA furnace for the manufacture of Silico Manganese using local manganese ore. We are one of the largest manufacturer of ferro silicon and silico manganese in Zambia. The company is planning an additional capacity by installation of a 9.0MVA furnace.
