Andrew Currie

Andrew commenced with Civil Support in 2019, Andrew has 26 years' experience in the inspection, construction and maintenance of concrete and timber structures throughout Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Fitzroy and Central Western districts. During this time with TMR (RoadTek) Andrew was directly involved in the construction of over 29 concrete bridges and numerous culvert structures. For the last 3 years Andrew has been involved in the delivery of the RNAU project as the Structures and Precast Inspector providing surveillance in the construction of 4 concrete bridges, numerous drainage structures and several kilometres of stormwater piping. Andrew is currently working on the delivery Angela Rd to Etna Ck Rd project as a Roadworks Inspector which consists of approx. 6km of widening/overlay works, also the realignment of Greenlakes and Dawson Rd intersections.

Chintankumar Chauhan

Chintankumar Chauhan joined Civil Support in 2023, He is working as a Site Engineer in the Contract Administration and Verification Services (CAVS) team for Yeppoon Rockhampton Upgrade (YRU) project. His current responsibility includes ITP review, inspection, and Site Surveillance for Yeppoon Rockhampton Upgrade project. After pursuing his master's degree in 2022, from University of Technology, Sydney, he started working as a Civil Site Engineer with a residential construction company in Canberra. Where he was associated with the whole construction process from Building Approval to the handover. His responsibilities were applying for the Building Approval, project scheduling, stakeholder management, resource management, Estimation and quotation, inspections and Auditing, project variation and accounting, providing technical advice where required, and effectively responding to the client's queries.

Daniel Cagnola

Daniel has over 13 years of experience in engineering and project management in multiple areas of the civil construction industry. This variety has allowed Daniel to gain a varied understanding of the industry. Daniel began his career at Seymour Whyte Constructions working on the Doulgas Arterial Duplication in Townsville, he continued to work in the North Queensland region on various road construction projects from large scale TMR works to smaller NDRRA works. Over the course of the next 5 years Daniel continued to develop his site skills working within the TMR framework. Daniel then relocated to Brisbane where he found a footing within the Asphalt and Seal sector developing his understanding within this industry and moving into a management role. Along the way he learnt the finer details of asphalt and seal and worked to the point of managing six sealing crews from day to day running of their works to progress reporting and future planning of the business. Daniel joined Civil Support in 2023, working as a Site Engineer on the Yeppoon Road Upgrade (YRU) project.

Daniel Ford

Daniel has extensive experience in the design, construction, maintenance and contract administration of transport infrastructure projects in both government and the private sector. Daniel has 10 years' post-RPEQ registration experience, and 25 years post graduate experience. Daniel has been the Contract Administrator and Administrator's Representative on recent TIC(CO)contracts involving coordinating complex and lengthy PUP relocations, earthworks, complex drainage, electrical, signalised intersections, ITS, landscaping, pavements (including stabilised and lightly bound layers), sprayed seal and asphalt surfacing and construction bridges. Daniel commits to establishing and maintaining a project team based on relationships and actively promotes the principles of trust, openness, respect and cooperation. In all his dealings, Daniel acts fairly, honestly and reasonably and is dedicated to achieving best for project outcomes. In adopting this relational approach, Daniel uses his consultation and group facilitation skills to diffuse conflict, enabling the fast and effective resolution of contractual issues. Daniel has significant experience in the development, management and coordination of multiple work packages developed in his previous role of Manager (Program Delivery) for Transport and Main Roads in the Fitzroy Region. Daniel was responsible for all elements of the preliminary design, detailed design, tendering and construction phases of the projects in the District program of works. Daniel's key achievement was the successful delivery of the 2011 / 2012, $190 million program of maintenance, rehabilitation and capital expenditure projects for the Fitzroy Region, which included the Gracemere Industrial Access Project (GIAP) and the early works package on the highly constrained Calliope Crossroads Arterial Interchange (CCAI).

David Guinane

David has over 7 years' experience in project management, contract administration and the delivery of civil infrastructure projects gained through his career with Gladstone Regional Council, WBHO Infrastructure and now Civil Support. David began his career at Gladstone Regional Council in the Road Services department, where he worked in delivery of Council's Capital Infrastructure Projects through all phases of the project, from contract and tender development, stakeholder management, to contract administration and works delivery. David later moved into a Coordinator role where he managed the delivery of Road Services annual operational maintenance program. David also has practical experience in the delivery of TMR infrastructure projects from his time as a Site Engineer with WBHO Infrastructure delivering the Bororen to Tannum Sands Safety Upgrades and Daisy Dell Overtaking Lanes. David has experience in managing subcontractors, cost control, developing construction programs, supervision of works and implementing quality management systems. David joined Civil Support in 2019, working as a Site Engineer on the Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade (RNAU) project and the Angela Rd to Etna Creek Rd Safety Upgrades.

Jarrath Ford

Jarrath joined Civil Support in 2018, he previously worked for Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads for 23 years with a focus on civil design and detailed planning projects within State Government. Jarrath has managed the delivery of the Transport System Planning Program for Transport and Main Road's Fitzroy District which included the completion of the Preliminary Evaluation for the Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade project. Jarrath has also managed the design and preconstruction of Heavy Vehicle Rest Area projects, steel culvert strengthening and intersection upgrade projects for Fitzroy District. Jarrath has successfully managed the Federal Government Black Spot program on behalf of Transport and Main Roads for the last 8 years and has successfully secured funding for works throughout his career. Throughout Jarrath's employment with Transport and Main Road's he has completed project nominations for various state and federal nomination rounds including Bridge Renewal Program, Royalties for Regions, Nation Building Program, Heavy Vehicle Action Plan and Northern Australian Roads Program.

Mark Prideaux

The Company's founder, Mark Prideaux, has over 39 years' experience in the direct supervision and project management of civil infrastructure projects gained through his career with the Queensland Department of Main Roads, Ergon Energy, Cardno Consulting Engineers, and for 13 years, as the director of Civil Support Pty Ltd. Mark began his career as a construction supervisor and contracts inspector on a wide range of road and bridge construction projects prior to undertaking his engineering degree as a mature aged student. As an engineer, Mark has worked in various senior engineering roles responsible for the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of transport and civil infrastructure projects. Mark has also worked as a senior project manager for Ergon Energy delivering infrastructure for high voltage electricity transmission and distribution. Mark has a depth of experience in project management, contract administration and alliance contracting. He has been the Project Manager for several successful Alliance and Partnered contracts between Public and Private sector contractors and Superintendent for the Contract on a number of significant transport infrastructure projects in Central Queensland. His recent projects have included fulfilling the role of Contract Administrator for construction contracts to deliver the $150M Calliope Cross Roads Arterial Interchange , the $170M Yeppen South Project on the southern approach to Rockhampton, a five bridge replacement package on the Dawson Highway and the $120M 4-laning upgrade of the Rockhampton Northern Access. In addition to this Mark continues to be involved in the preconstruction activities for the delivery of design and contract documentation for significant projects like the Rockhampton Ring Road and Yeppoon Road Upgrade projects.

Peter Ung

Peter has 20 years' experience in both government and private industry supervising and project managing the assessment, design and construction of civil infrastructure projects within the Central Queensland area. Peter commenced his career with the Department of Main Roads (Qld) in 2001 and furthered his civil construction experience as a Project Manager for RoadTek Asset Services. He then shifted to the private sector in 2006, joining a local engineering consultancy, working in various roles responsible for the planning, design and delivery of residential and industrial subdivisions together with transport infrastructure projects. Peter joined Civil Support in 2010 and brought with him his broad depth of knowledge in the areas of project management, contract administration, road and subdivision design, traffic engineering and construction surveillance.
