At Family Pillars Hospice, we are a team of specialized caregivers focusing on symptom management, comfort, and the spiritual and emotional needs of individuals... All RN's and LPN's at Family Pillars specialize in hospice care, and are all trained to take the upmost care of your loved one... Family Pillars Hospice provides an organized Bereavement Program supervised by a qualified bereavement counselor who has documented evidence of education or experience in dealing with grief or loss counseling. The services are available to assist the patient and family in minimizing stress and problems that arise from the terminal illness, related conditions and the dying process. Bereavement counseling also extends to residents of SNF/NF or ICF/MR when appropriate and identified in the bereavement plan of care. Bereavement counseling is a required hospice service but is not reimbursable.
