I'm Katie, a fully qualified and experienced German to English patent translator. I've been working as a professional patent translator since 2010, and my clients really value my high-quality work, attention to detail and the fact that I've never missed a deadline... While I'm happy to consider translation assignments in any field, my specialisms are patents and intellectual property law. After completing my MA in Translation I trained as an in-house translator at an internationally renowned IP law firm in Munich before setting up my own business as a professional patent translator and proofreader for law firms, specialist translation agencies and patent offices alike... Including claims, patent specifications, prior art documents, licensing agreements, notices of opposition, appeals and court judgements.
