Barbara Ridge keeps very busy working as Pacific Builder's Office Coordinator. Her warm, enthusiastic smile expresses how much she enjoys her job. With us since mid-2006, Barbara tackles and organizes paperwork, schedules, permits, bids, and photos for each project. Any unusual requests for help from co-workers, subcontractors or clients make their way to her desk. You might find her hunting down a box of nails from storage, creating special signs for a project or checking on a subcontractor's workers compensation insurance.
Barbara is attending Cuesta College and working towards a business degree. She plans to make a career in the construction industry and is excited to be learning everything she can about the business. She enjoys working with the public and is a pleasant, helpful contact when you call the office.
In her personal life, she lives her life as green as possible and is excited to be part of a company that embraces sustainable building techniques. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Carol Radike is the Special Projects Manager for Pacific Builders. A 1983 Cal Poly graduate she earned a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Plant Pathology and Entomology. She joined the company originally as our bookkeeper in 1998, but motherhood intervened allowing her fewer hours to spend in the office. As Special Projects Manager she concentrates on difficult, time consuming projects like developing our web site or researching developmental guidelines for specific projects.
An avid outdoor lover, you will likely find her hiking, tending her worm bin, nurturing her garden or homeschooling her son. Married for 16 years, her very favorite pastime is being with her family and working on the ‘next home project'.

- General Contractor and the General Manager
Dave Bolduan is a licensed general contractor and the General Manager of Pacific Builders of SLO. After graduating from U.C. Davis in 1980 with a B.S. in Environmental Planning and Management and a concentration in Landscape Architecture he became involved in the construction industry. He formed Pacific Builders in 1982 and actively worked in all phases of construction within the company for ten years before shifting into his current position as General Manager. Over the years, Dave embraced sustainable building techniques with a strong emphasis on recycling and energy efficiency.
As a certified building inspector he has a trained eye and monitors construction techniques to ensure that Pacific Builders maintains the highest standards. Dave is dedicated to creating a quality product and believes that open communication and providing excellent service are critical components of a successful project. He enjoys working with people and helping them through the complicated process of building or remodeling their home.
In his free time Dave can be found hiking the hills, surfing, ocean kayaking, or working in his garden.

- Pacific Builders' Estimator
Doug Dahlquist is Pacific Builders' Estimator and has been with us since 1986. He is a pro at taking your plans and creating an extremely detailed estimate of the costs involved for your project.
Doug is a long-time county resident with three children currently attending Cal Poly. A Cal Poly graduate himself, he left with a degree in Food Technology. After a fifteen year career as a chef and a period in restaurant management, Doug chose homebuilding and remodeling as a satisfying and lasting way to contribute to the community. In his spare time Doug enjoys camping, hiking and exploring the desert.
Sara West, our Accounts Manager, graduated from Cal Poly in 1985 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Since joining Pacific Builders in 2000, she has been instrumental in bringing a high degree of organization to our bookkeeping and estimating process. Her background and experience in accounting, property management, and real estate appraisal, coupled with her pleasant attitude, make her an indispensable member of the team.
Sara's interest in construction started as a teenager. She spent her summers working with her dad renovating old houses. This exposure fostered her fascination with construction and in 1992 she obtained a general contractor's license. Our Project Managers are able to easily communicate project details to Sara that are needed for billing and change orders.
Scott Piper is our Production Manager. After building unique homes in Beverly Hills, Malibu, Bel Air and Colorado, he settled into a new position with Pacific Builders in 2000. Organized and efficient, his easy going manner and willingness help make him an asset to every project. His personal goal as Production Manager is to ensure that each and every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Over the years Scott has worked on some unusual and exciting projects. He is especially proud of one that made the cover of the July 1996 Architectural Digest magazine.
When not working for Pacific Builders, Scott enjoys the outdoors and exploring the Central Coast of California.
