Bruno Dilecce

Born in 1959, he is a technical manager with more than twenty years of experience in the development of electrical/electronic systems and components for the automotive industry, mainly in the area of electrical energy systems. He has worked in product development at Fiat Group Automobiles (2000-2012). Prior to this, he was a researcher at the Fiat Research Center (1989-1999). He played a decisive role in devising, developing and launching technical solutions for improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. Among the projects he developed for Fiat include: Stop&Start System (2009) and the Smart Electrical Energy Management System (2011). Bruno Dilecce has extensive experience in the management of innovation processes and of R&D. His expertise includes operational know how of product development processes from a concept/feasibility phase to final product development, with particular skills in optimizing cost and competitiveness. Bruno Dilecce was awarded a PhD in Electrical Sciences in 1989 and a Master degree in Electrical Engineering in1983. He has a in-depth knowledge of current Electrical/Electronic systems and components, as well as of new developments and innovation trends in electrical energy management, including system architecture and components for hybrid-electric powertrains and vehicles. He is also skilled in Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 Standard. Bruno Dilecce is a Registered Professional Engineer and author or co-author of more than 25 scientific papers on Electrical/Electronic Circuit Theory, Circuit Computer Simulation, EMC analysis, and Automotive Electrical Electronic Architectures. In addition to his native Italian, he speaks English fluently. At 4S he is responsible for the business solutions regarding Electric/Electronic Hybrid and Electric Architectures. He also supports Functional Safety and the development of 4S products.

Carlo La Torre

Graduated in Physics at the Turin University, he joined Fiat Research Centre with the responsibility of the Non Destructive Testing Laboratory. Successively he joined Iveco S.p.A. with the responsibility to develop the Quality System of the Iveco Europe Dealer Network, the integrated Iveco Management System and the specific methods for Process Management, Product Development and Reliability. Finally, up to December 2008, he held the position of Company Management System Department Director at Iveco S.p.A. and was Project Leader of Innovation Programs, to manage the Product Modifications through the Lean Design approach and especially to assure the Functional Safety of the Iveco Commercial Vehicles Electric/Electronic Systems, applying the ISO 26262 standard (at that time under development) and participating in the specific Italian ISO Working Group. From 2009 to September 2013 he was the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) representative for the Italian Oversight Office (ANFIA). He supports ANFIA as a consultant and trainer for the Automotive Core Tools (D/PFMEA, MSA - Measuring System Analysis, etc.) and, since 2011, also as a Qualified Trainer for "VDA 6.3 - Production Process Audit". He is a Qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 of VCA - Vehicle Certification Agency (UK accredited Certification Body), a member of the steering committee of the Italian Association for Quality Culture - Automotive Sector (AICQ) and of the Italian Academy for Six Sigma (AISS). Co-founder of 4S S.r.l. (4S Group), he is the President.

Gianpaolo Tanturri

Born in 1947, graduated in Nuclear Engineering at the Turin Politecnico, he joined Fiat Research Center. Assistant and Project Leader responsible for the set-up of the new Centre for Electronics in Automotive of the "Fiat Research Centre. Till 2000 he was project supervisor to Istituto per la Ricerca e la Cura del Cancro (IRCC) for the new Research Centre for Cancer Therapy to be built in Candiolo (TO) with the intervention of CRF. He was involved as Technical Manager in Contract specifications, Timing supervision according to the work plan, Partial and final acceptance testing relative to building, equipment, plant. Reference point for testing and start-up of specialized departments and Technical support on Work and Plant safety standards and on Fire prevention and hazard evaluation, he worked for Feasibility studies for a new approach in Health Care Facilities and for Development of new concepts of technical management in "Health Engineering" . In these last years he has been an Interfunctional Team Leader in: Quality process Supervisor (according to norm ISO 9001 and ISO EN 13485), Advanced technologies and special business opportunities, Special projects in Health Engineering, Technological Scouting in Electronic Applications for Automotive

Luigi Battaglia

Born in 1957, graduated in mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin, after a short technical and commercial experience in the field of gage robots, he joined Iveco spa. In the Iveco Manufacturing Division he developed an impressive experience until 2001 when he moved to Brazil in the role of Director of the new Engine Plant in Sete Lagoas. In 2004 he held the responsibility of the Gearboxes Plant of Turin and in 2006 he held the responsibility of the technology department of Iveco's Industrial and marine Business Unit for industrialization of new products and plants world wide. During these plant's experiences he had the opportunity to apply the concept of lean production in improving the industrial organization, to apply the ISO 9001, ISO TS, themes to improve the quality output and the themes of Total production maintenance to improve the plant's efficiency besides the application of the 626 law and ISO 14000. Then he got further experience in feasibility studies, budgeting and implementation of new industrialization of both product and production. Since 2009 he decided to take on the role of consultant to those industries that need a push into the innovative, quality and organization as well as analysis of feasibility studies for new developments.
