5.2 The IAASB Vice Chair is a leadership position in support of the IAASB Chair. The IAASB Chair annually nominates, or may re-nominate, a member to serve as Vice Chair. The appointment as IAASB Vice Chair does not imply that the individual concerned is the Chair-elect. The IAASB meetings and agenda papers are in English, which is the official working language of IAASB.
