Debra Arbuckle

Debra recently moved to Southwest Iowa from the Pacific Northwest after her husband retired from over 30 years of active duty service in the Oregon Air National Guard. She earned her undergrad and graduate degrees at Eastern Washington University. She also has a certificate in Developmental Disabilities. Debra has over 10 years experience working with people who have dementia and their caregivers. She worked with people in their homes to overcome barriers of aging in place as long as possible. Debra has worked with therapeutic needs foster children. She also has experience working with incarcerated individuals. Debra has held board positions in nonprofit agencies that focus on the wellbeing of people from birth to the end of life that may have disabilities, or barriers to meet their daily needs. She also spent many years serving in all levels of the Washington State PTA. Debra is currently getting EMDR certified. She works with a strengths base and motivational modalities. Debra works with a person centered approach to her clients. Debra' s faith helps guide her in meeting each client where they are, and helping them become the person they would like to be. She is looking forward to bringing her knowledge and skills to serve the clients of Waubonsie Mental Health Clinic. In her free time Debra is enjoying exploring the Midwest with her husband. She has 3 adult children, who she enjoys spending time with as much as possible.

Denise D. Crosson

Denise D. Crosson, Ph.D. has been a nurse for thirty-eight years, a nurse practitioner for twenty-one years, and a nurse researcher for sixteen years. Her first job working with children was in high school as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the YMCA. Throughout her nursing career Crosson has worked with children and their families in hospital, home, hospice, and community-based settings. Denise earned a masters and doctoral degree from Virginia Commonwealth University where she was a fellow in the VA-LEND neurodevelopmental disabilities training program, which focused on children and families. Her dissertation research focused on short- and long-term effects of preterm birth on childhood development. Denise has been a provider at WMHC since August 2017. She provides telehealth services in Clarinda and Red Oak.

Marcy Taylor

Marcy Taylor is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) who received her Bachelor of Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University and her Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. As a Therapist, Marcy uses a trauma-focused lens and a person-centered approach to healing and connection. This includes providing a nurturing, supportive environment, meeting the client where they are, and identifying and using personal strengths to improve their unique situation. Marcy uses a variety of modalities and tools depending on the client's individual needs and goals. Marcy has specialized training in grief counseling, and offers EMDR, DBT, CBT, and ego state work. Marcy is a native of Southwest Iowa. She returned to the community in 2011 with her husband in order to raise their children near her family. Marcy's faith is an integral part of her life, and she offers Christian counseling to those who are seeking a Christ-centered approach to healing.
