Hellingly Garden Services is a new company built on old skills. The business owner Steve Veal trained under Jeremy Nicholson and Ken Sperry in the 1980's working on large country houses and gardens around the Uckfield area. This type of formal training is rarely given these days and Steve is privy to many skills that have fallen into misuse. In 1987 Steve began a successful career in the world of Information Technology, eventually running his own software company, until its sale in 2015. Having sold his company Steve is now moving back to his first love, Horticulture... To ensure that HGS is prepared for any eventuality we have a policy in place providing £2,000,000 of public liability cover... We have made a significant investment in modern machinery. Our equipment will be reliable and appropriate to the task. Our experience guides us as to when a job should be done but it is the machinery and tools that allow us to work efficiently and quickly.
