We started making knives in early 2014 when we (2 brothers and a good friend) wanted to make something that we could use. So we started making a fixed blade. We just had to get some steel so we searched online and managed to buy an old saw blade. Of course, the first knife wasn't great but it sure was usable! So we decided to try it again. And so we kept making fixed blades just to get better at it. When we made a few we bought some tool steel (O1) and that was the time everything became a little bit more time consuming. We made a 2x72" belt grinder, bought a heat treat oven and some more premium handle materials. We also visited a few knife shows in the Netherlands and Belgium and managed to get alot of information regarding knifemaking... All 3 of us have our own task in the workshop so we are able to work at multiple blades at a time. We do knifemaking as a hobby and not as a job so we don't ask huge amounts for our knives.
