Joan has served in high level leadership positions, both civilian and military. Other management experiences includes, Security and setting up company branches in other countries and managing projects.

During her military career Joan trained and moved troops on several tours of duty, including two tours in Afghanistan and two tours in Iraq. Her leadership, attention to detail, genuine personality, and friendly approach provides the leadership and unique culture.
Joan is AN AMBASSADOR OF MIAMI RESCUE MISSION(non-profit organization, providing emergency services, recovery programs, and transitional housing to men, women , and children in Miami). Serving the homeless and needy of Miami by helping men, women, and children with meals, safe shelter, life-changing residential programs, employment, and housing resulting in transformed lives and giving them hope.
Joan is also a member of COVER GIRLS GROUP: Cover Girls are mentors who give of their time (volunteer), their talent (skills and abilities) and their treasure (pledge of $10 dollars or more per month). This is all done in love to help women and children who have had some really hard knocks in life including abuse and homelessness. The goal is to see those that are mentored become successful in life.
Joan has also volunteered working with multiple charity organizations overseas such as USAID (United States Agency for International Development) working with kids in need. Joan has travelled the world, and is familiar with international customs and cultures.
