Dr. Matt Smith is the only Kois Center® Mentor in Wisconsin. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, Fellowship in the International Dental Implant Association, MUSoD Alumni Board, Chicago Dental Society, Waukesha County Dental Society, D.O.C.S. Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, and the Milwaukee Mayfair Study Club. Dr. Matt prides himself on delivering comfortable, personalized care and is sincerely dedicated to maintaining a high level of knowledge and skill in the ever-changing field of dentistry. He is a continuous student and spends a tremendous amount of time each year working to stay on top of the latest cosmetic and general dental advancements. But most importantly, for Dr. Matt, it's all about relationships. That's why he works to build and develop relationships with patients by helping them overcome dental obstacles and achieve excellent oral health. He loves working with people and being a part of someone's journey, especially helping someone achieve a healthy, natural smile. Dr. Matt has completed more than a thousand hours of continuing education focused on cosmetic dentistry, complex dental rehabilitation, laser dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry, sedation dentistry, and cone beam (CT scan) treatment planning. Because of such comprehensive education, our patients can receive a high level of complete, comprehensive dental care, ranging from basic cleanings to complete bite rehabilitations. Dr. Matt remains closely involved within the dental community by attending both monthly & annual meetings with various organizations. Dr. Matt served on numerous boards at Marquette University School of Dentistry and served as a Faculty Clinic Instructor at MUSoD and a clinical instructor at the MATC hygiene program. Dr. Matt and his team are committed to serving the community locally and globally. Service dental mission trips to Haiti, volunteering at clinics for underserved children in Waukesha and participating in "Give Kids a Smile" and "Mission of Mercy" programs. Dr. Matt and his wife Jenny are proud parents to Logan, Kylie, and Isabel. Besides spending time with his wife and children, he enjoys boating, working out, hiking, camping, photography, and travel. Practicing dentists like Dr. Matt Smith attend Kois to get a comprehensive esthetic and restorative dentistry curriculum. Then, with the skills learned at Kois, he can deliver the latest advances in esthetics and restorative dentistry. The goal of a Kois dentist is to improve patients' lives by providing predictable, evidence-based dentistry paired with the highest level of patient care.
