Ash wasn't in the role of collections agent long & she quickly progressed into the role of Team Captain managing a team of 6-8 agents on our collections floor. In August 2019, Ash moved into her current position of HR & Training Coordinator. She is responsible for the recruitment & training of our agents across the collections floor.

Rhonan McGarry

Starting with Opos in April 2021 coming from a background of compliance with Teleperformance and Resolvecall, Rhonan showed a strong commitment to frontline customer service before rising to the role of Client Performance Coach, managing a dynamic team of agents requiring additional support and coaching within their roles, as well pinpointing client nuances within the business to optimise client performance. Rhonans prior experience as a collector and proficiency in customer interaction gained through a plethora of contact centre roles allows him to focus and pass on his interpersonal skills ensuring each agent in his charge is properly equipped to handle any customer journey.

Rob Sands - Chief Compliance Officer

Appointed as Head of Compliance in January 2017, Rob joins Opos with over 13 years experience in the Collections, Compliance, Purchase and Risk departments of various organisations throughout the UK... Appointed as Head of Compliance in January 2017, Rob joins Opos with over 13 years experience in the Collections, Compliance, Purchase and Risk departments of various organisations throughout the UK. Rob spent 8 years with Mackenzie Hall, during which time he undertook a number of roles including Head of Outsource Operations, Head of Collections and latterly, Director of Compliance. During Robs' time at the company the business grew into a 50m organisation with one of the best records for performance and compliance in the UK. Rob has also served on the boards of Motormile Finance UK limited, again as Director of Compliance and most recently undertook a project with Silicon Marketing Limited that saw him establish and guide the business through the FCA licensing process. Furthermore, Rob has served on the boards of the Credit Services Association, The Association of Credit Professionals and is the founder of the Scottish Compliance Forum. In recognition of his hard work and dedication to the 'Compliance Cause' he was presented the 'Outstanding Contribution to Compliance' award by the CSA in 2010 and was further invited to tutor their Diploma Course in 2012.

Scott Dawson

Originally from a technical background, Scott has a great deal of experience in designing and writing software. In addition to Opos Limited Scott also owns the debt purchase company Kapama Limited and the software house DDI Consulting Limited t/a DDI Software, a supplier of contact centre and debt collection telephony and software... Originally from a technical background, Scott has a great deal of experience in designing and writing software. In addition to Opos Limited Scott also owns the debt purchase company Kapama Limited and the software house DDI Consulting Limited t/a DDI Software, a supplier of contact centre and debt collection telephony and software. DDI was formed in February 2005, following a period of time where Scott was working in the IT department of the BCW Group, a large Glasgow based debt collection agency (DCA). In June 2008 Scott identified an opportunity to set up a DCA and registered Opos Limited. Since 2008 Scott has built Opos Limited from a two collector operation into a 150 seat contact centre serving various high end brands. As a result of Scott's technical background, the quality of Opos people is further strengthened by the continued focus on technical innovation. The name Opos was in fact derived from 'Our People Our Systems', underpinning the company values and delivering great results for our client base.

Steffanie Wilson

Since starting with Opos, Steff has shown to be an integral part of the business and has quickly rose through the ranks from collections agent to becoming a key part of the senior management team.... Since starting with Opos, Steff has shown to be an integral part of the business and has quickly rose through the ranks from collections agent to becoming a key part of the senior management team. Starting as a collector in the call centre she has developed through our leadership pipeline holding positions with Client Services, Recruitment and Training. Steff had studied IT and Web-design at college and expressed an interest in developing her skills. She was seconded to DDI to provide additional support to Margo with special projects. During this time, she worked closely with Margo to develop OurOpos. OurOpos is our Electronic Learning Development and Assessment Centre. In January 2018 Steff was promoted to Business Support Manager and is now fully committed to continuous improvement. Steff is now taking the next step to developing her skill-set and has been enrolled in an industry approved accountancy course.

Stuart Milby

Stuart joined Opos in 2019 working as a collections agent, after 3 months on the call floor Stuart was offered an opportunity to work in IT... Stuart joined Opos in 2019 working as a collections agent, after 3 months on the call floor Stuart was offered an opportunity to work in IT Support training under the Managing & Technical Director Scott Dawson. After a year of training in IT Support under Scott and alongside the DDI team Stuart progressed to IT Manager, soon thereafter also picking up the duties of Facilities Manager. He is continually working to ensure Opos' ability to function securely and without interruption, while improving Opos' networking infrastructure. Since his appointment to the IT Manager position Stuart has helped move the entire business to a Home Working environment during the lockdowns in 2020-2022, he has maintained Opos's ISO 27001 standard and has delivered Cyber Essentials Plus to the business.

Wai Man Yau

Wai Man joined Opos in July 2021 as a collections agent having come from a finance and customer services background... Wai Man joined Opos in July 2021 as a collections agent having come from a finance and customer services background. From a collections agent, she then quickly worked her way up to the Team Captain's position where she oversaw six other agents on the call floor. She stayed in this position for a few months before applying for the role of Complaints & Internal Auditing Manager in January 2022. Having stepped into the position of Complaints & Internal Auditing Manager now, Wai Man works alongside Head of Compliance, Rob, and Quality Assurance Officer, Colin, to ensure all complaints are properly handled, and all internal audits are processed to the high standards expected of a successful company such as Opos Limited.
