ARC CBBC

The Advanced Research Center Chemical Building Blocks Consortium (ARC CBBC) is the Netherlands' national research center for circular and sustainable chemistry. Our hub universities Utrecht University, the University of Groningen and the Technical University of Eindhoven collaborate with the chemical industry, represented by Shell, BASF and AkzoNobel. Together with members from universities all across the country, they collaborate on project level in multilateral and bilateral projects. We bring together representatives from industry, academia and the government to greenify the chemical industry. We mainly focus on our three research themes: energy transition, feedstock transition and materials transition.
