Abby Hammond

Abby joined Parfitt Cresswell in May 2018 having previously completed her training to be a Solicitor in South Yorkshire. She studied law at the University of Liverpool and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield. Abby is a Solicitor dealing with all aspects of Private Client work, including the Administration of Estates, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Abby prides herself on being approachable, explaining matters thoroughly and working to get the best possible outcome for clients.

Alison Courtenay

Alison joined Parfitt Cresswell in April 2013 having previously worked in a Private Client Department for a firm in Hampshire. Alison is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and specialises in all aspects of Private Client work including Administration of Estates, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax advice and Court of Protection work. She prides herself on being approachable with an empathetic ear yet always aims to give a professional and quality service to her clients. Alison has two grown up children and lives in Hampshire.

Allison Tompkins

Allison is a long standing member of the team at Colemans having joined in 1998. Whilst working at Colemans and bringing up a family Allison studied and passed her exams for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2007. She was admitted as a Fellow in 2009. Allison specialises in Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, she is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and is Head of the Private Client Department in Haywards Heath.

Andrea Houston

Andrea qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. She has always been based at law firms in Kent and joined Keene Marsland earlier this year. Andrea deals with a large range of Private Client matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, estate administration, Trusts and estate planning. She is also a member of The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has a wealth of experience in dealing with complex matters in a sensitive and timely manner.

Anita Bates

Anita is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and offers our clients a comprehensive range of tax and accounting services to include preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns, Inheritance Tax forms and Capital Gains Tax calculations. She can help you plan and manage your tax affairs to help minimise all your tax liabilities. Anita is also responsible for the general administration of a number of trusts, assisting with the administration of estates, dealing with executors, trustees and beneficiaries. She can offer assistance with finalising lifetime tax affairs, preparation of trust and estate tax returns and accounts. Anita has built up a considerable portfolio of personal clients and trust matters, advising on a variety of aspects from benefit claims and tax credits to complex personal and trust tax issues. If required, Anita is happy to visit clients in their own home wherever possible.

Anne Chambers

Qualified as a Solicitor in 1991, Anne has represented major Blue Chip listed companies, privately-owned businesses and individuals. Her practice areas and expertise cover a range of civil and commercial litigation, including all levels of contract claims, commercial property disputes, corporate and partnership conflicts, as well as professional negligence. Anne's particular know-how is intellectual property, with an emphasis on trade mark law: she is an expert on anti-counterfeiting measures. Elizabeth Jones

Elizabeth graduated in Cardiff and has a wealth of experience as a Famliy Solicitor in dealing with complex divorce, civil partnership dissolution, cohabitant disputes and domestic violence often with an international element. Elizabeth is a member of Resolution whose members are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. She follows a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems, encouraging solutions that encourage the needs of the whole family, and in particular the best interests of the children.

Eve Geere

Eve graduated from the University of Sussex in 2000 and then went on to train as a Barrister. Eve formally transferred from Barrister to Solicitor in 2005 and was based in Kent for 13 years. She joined Parfitt Cresswell in 2017 and practises exclusively in Family Law. Eve practices in all areas of private Family Law to include; matters involving children, divorce and the associated financial remedies, domestic abuse and matters associated with co-habitation. Eve is an attentive listener and a fastidious practitioner. She is personable and professional.

Francis Ritchie

Francis joined Parfitt Cresswell in June 2010 having previously worked in Bromley. He is a graduate of Exeter University and qualified as a solicitor in 1990. Francis has extensive experience in private client work where he advises and specializes in Probate, Wills and Trusts. He has a particular interest in Court of Protection matters. Francis lives in Sydenham and is married with four children.

Hayley Sheppard

Hayley joined Parfitt Cresswell in 2011 having previously worked as a Legal Secretary for another law firm in Windsor for a number of years. She has a Level 2 Diploma in Administration and lives locally.

Hilary Palmer

Hilary joined the firm in April 2019 as a Solicitor in the Commercial Property department. Hilary has been practicing as a commercial property lawyer for 32 years, mostly in London and is now enjoying working in her home town of Tunbridge Wells. She has significant experience across a variety of transaction types, including Leases for all types of commercial property Freehold sales and purchases 1954 Act lease renewals Wayleaves and easements Mixed use properties Re-financing Licenses and variations regarding leases Rights of way issues Hilary acts for a broad range of clients including financial institutions, public sector clients, property investment companies, developers, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals advising them on a broad range of both commercial and residential property transactions.

Jane Lynch

Jane qualified at a London firm before practising in Oxford for nearly 10 years. She has come from leading a Private Client team for a firm in Oxford to head of our Caversham office. Jane specialises in all aspects of Private Client work, including Wills and Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work, and elderly client issues. She also has vast experience with all aspects of Probate, Intestacy and the Administration of Estates, as well as the set up and administration of Trusts. Jane is a is a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners and also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Jane has lived in Caversham since 2012 and, after recently having her first child, has become much more active in the local community. Jane prides herself on being a straight talker without the legal jargon!

Jo Claxton

Jo joined the team in November 2018, having qualified as a Solicitor at an established local firm.

Laura Inskip

Laura qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and has specialised in Family Law since then. She joined Parfitt Cresswell in May 2018. Mark Morton

Mark Morton joined Parfitt Cresswell in February 2020. Mark is a Licensed Conveyancer and has been qualified since 2006.

Mirren McGinley

Mirren joined the firm in April 2019 as a Solicitor in the Commercial Property department. Mirren qualified in 2013 and her experience ranges from acting for small to medium size enterprise clients to PLCs including high value bank refinancing and sales of multi million pound property portfolios. Mirren acts for a broad range of clients including financial institutions, public sector clients, property investment companies, developers, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals advising them on a broad range of both commercial and residential property transactions.

Nigel Harper

As a Chartered Accountant with many years experience in both private practice and industry, Nigel heads up the business management team at Parfitt Cresswell. During his time in private practice he has advised many small and medium sized companies and individuals in a wide range of market sectors in the management, development and growth of their businesses.

Oliver Nelms

Oliver qualified as a Solicitor and joined Colemans in November 2017. He had previously been a trainee solicitor at an established firm in Brighton where he gained valuable experience in the Private Client department, and this experience allowed Oliver to realise where his skills were best utilised and how he could most effectively help clients. Oliver specialises in Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as providing advice on tax planning and trusts. He endeavours to provide his clients with a friendly, efficient and cost-effective service throughout. Oliver's favourite part of the job is meeting clients and building long-lasting relationships.

Peter Jelly

Peter's expertise is Wills, Trusts & Probate and he handles all the legal aspects of bereavement and the administration of estates on behalf of his clients. Peter's considerable experience enables him to determine the most appropriate, effective and stress-free approach to handling his client's affairs. Peter also ensures that clients receive the necessary support, help and guidance throughout. If required, Peter is happy to make home visits enabling him to advise clients on sensitive and personal issues within their own familiar surroundings.

Rachel Eley

Rachel joined the team at Parfitt Cresswell in October 2019. Whilst officially only just qualified, Rachel has almost 7 years of in-depth experience in Residential Conveyancing and also has some experience of Private Client work too. With knowledge and experience in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing; including help to buy, shared ownership, adverse possession and property litigation, Rachel is a proactive Solicitor whose priority is exceeding her client's expectations and knowing her client's needs. She is a keen advocate of improving the conveyancing process through technology and case management. Rachel enjoys getting to know her clients and building friendships as well as trust with her client's and colleagues alike.

Robert Evans

Robert joined the firm in 2001 and is a Partner in our London offices. He is a graduate in law of the University of Kent and qualified as a Solicitor in 1988. He specialises in all aspects of probate, wills, IHT Planning and trust work.

Sarah Reynolds

Sarah Reynolds joined Parfitt Cresswell's Windsor office in June 2012 having headed up a successful Private Client team for a firm in Basingstoke. She had previously worked in the Windsor area and enjoys being back in the locality. Sarah specialises in all aspects of Private Client work, including Wills and Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work, as well as the administration of estates and trusts. Sarah believes in a practical and sensitive approach to clients and their situations. Sarah is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Law Society's Private Client Section. She is also a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners and won an award for her Administration of Estates Diploma.

Sharon Micuta

Sharon has over 25 years experience in Family Law and deals with all matters arising from divorce and separation. Sharon has a great deal of knowledge relating to children and domestic violence and does almost all of her own advocacy. She is known by her clients to be extremely supportive, friendly and sympathetic.

Simon Bacchus

Simon qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 and deals exclusively with residential property. He joined Parfitt Cresswell in May 2017 as Head of Property Services. Simon helps clients buy and sell all types of properties ranging from one-bedroom flats to executive family homes and landed estates. He has a broad client base and frequently acts for private individuals, companies, charities, trusts and executors. Simon also has experience of preparing small to medium sized housing developments for onward sale. He is known for his wealth of knowledge, calm manner and meticulous eye for detail as well as being a keen advocate of e-conveyancing and the use of conveyancing case management systems.

Stephen Wilmot

Stephen started his career as an outdoor clerk for a firm of solicitors in Lewisham. He did an external law degree at University of London and then did part of his Articles in East Grinstead sitting his Law Society Finals in 1991/92. Stephen returned to the solicitors in Lewisham to complete his Articles and was admitted as a Solicitor in September 1993. Over the last 15-20 years Stephen has been involved in Matrimonial/Family work, Personal Injury and Employment, he then dropped Employment and has done the two remaining areas up to now and is on the Law Society Panels for both. Stephen joined Keene Marsland in September 2015, primarily to do Family/Matrimonial work including divorce, finance, children issues and (for non-married couples) property disputes (under The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996). Stephen lived in Tunbridge Wells for many years and now lives in East Sussex. His interests are rugby, cricket and football in that order!

Sue Booth

Sue has practiced in Family law for over 25 years, originally working in London at a West End firm before relocating to Sussex. Sue has been the head of the Family Department at Colemans since 2007. Sue specialises in divorce and the arrangements that need to made on divorce and separation, such as financial settlements and arrangements for children, as well as pre-nuptial, separation and cohabitation agreements. Sue is a member of Resolution, which is a nationwide family organisation that supports a resolution of family disputes in a constructive manner. Sue is also a trained mediator and in her Family work offers a personal and bespoke service to achieve the best solution for her clients.

Teresa Payne

Teresa joined Parfitt Cresswell in September 2007 after a number of years at a Bromley based firm where she became a Partner and was Head of Dispute Resolution & Litigation Services. Teresa specialises in law firm management and development and deals with all aspects of the Firm's legal compliance and client services.

Tina Hylands

Tina qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1989 since which time she has practised primarily in Family Law. She has extensive experience in the areas of divorce; financial and property settlements following the breakdown of relationships, both in the High Court and County Court; private law children matters; civil partnership dissolutions; non-molestation/occupation orders; Trust of Land Act matters, together with separation deeds and pre-nuptial agreements. Tina is based at our Edenbridge office and deals with cases from the initial stage through to conclusion, with instruction of Counsel as and when required. Her professional philosophy is to provide clients with an excellent standard of service, by keeping them closely informed of developments as they occur. Tina has a well established reputation for reliability, and for providing a personal touch to the way in which she handles her cases. Tina enjoys travelling, eating out, going to the theatre and spending time with her family and friends.

Zanariah Webster

Zanariah qualified as a Solicitor in March 2008 following completion of her training contract for a Central London law firm where she practised Family, Conveyancing and Immigration Law. Zanariah then headed the Family Department for a West London firm where she was responsible for every aspect of her cases.
