CIEES is a New York State Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) funded by Empire State Development through the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR). Since its inception in 2015, CIEES supports the development of future energy systems, water purification and sustainable food production through research, industry collaboration, and education. CIEES connects the world-leading expertise of Stony Brook University faculty and staff with the needs of the energy, water purification and sustainable food industries... Center in Integrated Electric Energy Systems (CIEES) is a part of the New York State network of Centers for Advanced Technology (CAT), shown on the following map. We are located at Advanced Energy Research and Development Center (AERTC) , shown on the right, on the campus of Stony Brook University...
