Welcome to St. Mary's School - where our vision is for our children to aspire, aspire, believe, belong and achieve... We are a small, friendly primary school within the town, where everybody knows each other and there is a real family atmosphere. In June 2016, Ofsted rated our school as good, saying that "There is a caring culture across all aspects of the school so that pupils are safe and happy." Our children are all treated as individuals and as a result they are well behaved and positive learners who take an active part in their community. We have high expectations of our pupils and in the 2019 assessments for Early Years Foundation Stage, Phonics, Year 2 and Year 6 our children achieved well above national standards in most areas...
