Wessex Psychotherapy and Counselling (WPC) offers talking and creative therapy in a safe professional relationship to all without regard to lifestyle, gender, age, disability, race, sexual orientation, beliefs, culture or ability to pay with the aim of relieving distress. Treatment is not restricted to one type of therapy (e.g. psycho-dynamic, person-centred, cognitive behavioural) rather our therapists adopt an integrative approach. Our qualified counsellors/psychotherapists are on a register approved by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) and are accredited with one of the recognised professional bodies (typically British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) or British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or working towards..
