JLL Optics is owned and run by Joe Beattie who has been in the optics business since leaving school. Over the years, he has worked in various roles within many labs from junior duties to managerial role finally opening his own lab with his younger brother in October 2012. Initially it was only the two of them running the lab which has grown to 7 staff members in just 2 years...
