ANDERSON - Key Persons
Aman came to us from the international accounting firm of Ernst and Young in 2008. She got her education in Southern California, at UCLA, but Northern California has been her home since 1989. She has boundless energy, works very closely with clients, and is the person we can always rely on to give us her straightforward opinion. Aman lives in Nevada City, CA with her husband Neal, and daughters Abby and Rumi. She has found the perfect balance between her home and work life. She spends half of the week here in the Bay Area and the other half working from her home office in the mountains, in the company of her dog Bear and her flock of chickens.
Daniel joined us earlier this year as an IT intern and part time support staff. He has lived in Orinda all his life and is currently attending Diablo Valley College for computer engineering. Daniel is a quiet person when you first meet him, but once he gets started on history or politics, he lights up and is happy to share his knowledge with you. We have all benefited from his vast knowledge of the Civil War, and he has added a spark to our Thursday office lunches with his enthusiasm.
Doug has been in the industry for 36 years. He is a UC Berkeley graduate and a Mathematician. He received his MBA from Golden Gate University. He is an invaluable presence at his church in Lebanon, Oregon and with the Boy Scouts of America. Doug was a longtime Berkeley resident before moving to Oregon and still comes down to California to spend tax season here in our office, while working the rest of the year from home. He and his wife Kay have two children and 11 grandchildren. It seems fair to say that Doug is an overachiever in all aspects of his life!

Harry Eisenberg is a certified public accountant who specializes in estate and trust taxation and comprehensive planning for high net worth individuals. He is also a successful entrepreneur, founding his own accounting firm which he subsequently sold to Deloitte and Touche, formerly Touche Ross. Harry enjoys international travel, working with WWF to restore our Northern Great Plains and relaxing in Northern California with his wife, Cindy, and their Golden Retriever, Montana.
Kevin began his professional tax career at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He later joined the middle market group of Touche Ross as a tax manager where he was involved in a multitude of intricate financial transactions. Kevin formed Anderson & Company in 1991, then joined with Robert Heimbucher to form Heimbucher & Anderson in 2001, where he continued as a partner until Robert's retirement in 2015.
Kevin and his wife Carol are Bay Area natives. They have a son Daniel and twins, Sarah and Julie. Kevin is an avid reader, especially science fiction, enjoys keeping up with the latest in politics, and loves the ocean. With the view from his office, it is amazing that he can get any work done… if you haven't yet, please stop by and see it!

Born and brought up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah is a valuable member of our support staff team. Following in her father's footsteps, Sarah is pursuing a degree in accounting and currently attending Diablo Valley College. She will transfer to a four year college in the fall of 2017. Sarah is new to the Firm. She is intelligent, hardworking, detail oriented, and we are very excited to have her with us.
