With extensive experience from some of the most vibrant restaurants across the city like Ten Foot Henry, Anju and Hawthorn Dining Room, Bern Glatz brings innovation and a new "taste" to the traditional Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant as newly appointed Executive Chef. His culinary mantra is simple yet sophisticated. Bern credits locally sourced, seasonal products as the starting point of a perfect dish. He also believes "crudo" dishes like beef carpaccio, tartare or tuna crudo to be significant signs of a restaurant's character and quality.

Richard Leurer

Richard Leurer has always had a deep love and sense of wonder about the Bow Valley Ranche house and the land it was born from. For this reason Richard decided to take a chance and apply for work at the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. His dreams were soon realized as he landed himself a position in the kitchen. His never-ending drive and dedication allowed him to work his way through different roles to eventually become the General Manager. Richard is proud and excited to be part of the amazing team that values and carries on the rich tradition The Bow Valley Ranche holds in Calgary.

Suzanne Ta

Suzanne's personal demeanor has led her to stand out within our family of companies. Starting at Great Events Catering as an Events Sales Coordinator, Suzanne quickly showed her enthusiasm and quick wit for events. Always eager to help plan a party, it was a natural fit when Suzanne stepped into the lead role as our Restaurant's Events Coordinator in 2017. Since then, she's successfully executed countless events from high-end corporate events to personal dinners. Her clients know they're in good hands with her easygoing nature and professionalism.
