Established in 1990, Greenwood Asphalt Pty Ltd is a Melbourne based company which specialises in handwork of asphalt. Every asphalt project we undertake is unique and the construction process always varies. Prior to laying asphalt, additional drainage of the area may be required, or if there is mud or clay, it would need to be removed before we are able to go ahead with the work... The pre-asphalt surface must be regulated with crushed rock, rolled and compacted to achieve a quality asphalt finish. To establish exactly what needs to be done, every asphalt job requires individual assessment. This is why we offer free no obligation quotes as well as advice. To ensure a high-quality asphalt surface is produced at the end we begin with the right sub-base construction.
