Anna Hill is a Principal and Jasmax's Interior Design Lead with over a decade of local and international experience in executing world-class interior design projects across a variety of sectors. With a sharp eye for detail, she draws on experience in residential, recreational, commercial, and hospitality projects to support her multi-skilled design approach, which strengthens Jasmax's fully integrated design offering. Anna's designs aim to create spaces that convey unique personalities, connecting existing and prospective users. Her design acumen, alongside a comprehensive understanding of different user experiences, allows her to create spectacular design outcomes that align with the specifics of each project. Her track record of delivering professional, well-executed projects is testament to her ability to build strong relationships and negotiate the complexities of large teams, significant projects, and multiple stakeholders. Prior to joining Jasmax, Anna led complex retail and high-end department store projects across Asia Pacific, America, and Europe, including the Invercargill Central inner-city redevelopment and the Sylvia Park Galleria in Auckland.

Dr Paul Jurasovich

Dr Paul Jurasovich is an experienced sustainability specialist and senior architect with over 20 years' experience in New Zealand and the US. With a PhD investigating the environmental impacts of new ways of working in offices, he has authored environmental policy and provided sustainability advice to major corporate clients, government and NGOs. Since joining the practice, Paul has developed Jasmax's sustainable design guidelines and worked with project teams and clients as a sustainability advisor.

Elisapeta Heta

Principal and leader of Waka Māia, Elisapeta Heta is helping to guide Jasmax on an inter-generational journey towards becoming an authentically bicultural design practice. In 2015, Elisapeta co-founded Waka Māia to provide a Māori design voice within Jasmax.

Green Star

Paul is actively involved in advancing sustainable building practices in industry, and he has been involved with the New Zealand Green Building Council since its inception in 2005. He is one of the most experienced Green Star assessors in New Zealand. He is also currently a member of the Green Star Advisory Committee and was previously an expert member of the Office Tool and Industrial Tool Committees with ongoing involvement in the evolution of NZGBC tools. As a designer, Paul has led multiple award-winning projects, in particular, the Waste Management headquarters which made a clean sweep of the 2020 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards, winning the Rider Levett Bucknall Supreme Award for best project overall, the Resene Green Building Award, and the CBRE Industrial Property Award.

Jerome Partington - CSR

Jerome Partington is the Sustainability Manager at Jasmax and has long been an advocate for the environment. Focused on finding sustainable solutions that meet peoples' needs without undermining our society or the bio-system, Jerome is one of the leading sustainability specialists in the country. He has worked in architectural practice and education for over twenty years, with a strong practical construction and technology emphasis. Jerome's experience includes adaptive reuse, ecological-based design and solar design and he has a wealth of knowledge in eco-building materials and systems. In his role as Sustainability Manager, Jerome focuses on the development of a strategic, goal-led approach to sustainable design and practice to ensure Jasmax's projects realise their potential for sustainable outcomes. He uses the innovative Integrated Sustainable Design (ISD) process which uses a systems worldview to optimise outcomes rather than a traditional silo approach. Jerome also facilitates ISD sessions to turbo-charge projects to ensure they deliver sustainable outcomes. As an NZGBC Accredited Professional Jerome offers specific support and advice on Green Star projects and engages in project reviews using JEMS, recently certified to ISO 14001. He provided the sustainable design framework and guided the team to solutions for Te Kura Whare, the Tūhoe headquarters, Aotearoa New Zealand's most advanced sustainable building, which achieved Living Building Challenge certification.

Jun Tsujimoto

is a highly accomplished architect with extensive design experience in Aotearoa New Zealand and Japan. Jun provides design leadership across the practice, covering a range of sectors and disciplines, focusing on tertiary education and culturally significant projects. Passionate about architecture‘s potential to influence the city, Jun is inspired by how arts institutions and community-led initiatives can act as a catalyst for urban regeneration. Jun's experience spans projects of varying scale and complexity, including boutique retail fit-outs, residential, tertiary education, civic buildings, and urban infrastructure. As the lead designer on numerous projects, including the University of Auckland's B201 building, the highly complex AUT Nga Wai Hono building and the more recent Parihaka Visitor Centre, Jun has extensive experience working collaboratively with communities and Mana Whenua to integrate cultural narratives into building designs. Jun was also involved in the competition-winning design team for the New Zealand Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Matthew Glubb - CEO

Matthew Glubb is the CEO of Jasmax. He has a background in architecture with 25 years' experience leading major projects in Aotearoa New Zealand and abroad. Throughout his career at Jasmax, Matthew has been instrumental in advancing design quality, bicultural practice, and environmental leadership within the business. He is extremely passionate about the business' potential to contribute toward a resilient, sustainable future. Prior to being the CEO of Jasmax, Matthew was Head of Design, responsible for championing design excellence across the practice. He continues to provide mentoring to design teams and direct design input to many projects, ensuring they deliver real value to our clients and the communities in which they serve. His extensive experience in leading the design of major projects has resulted in a clear understanding of the collaborative design leadership required to deliver projects successfully within environments that are often technically challenging and politically complex. His unique ability to hold vision whilst managing complexity has been key to his success in the industry. Some of Matthew most significant projects include the Auckland City Rail Link, the national Fale Malae, New Zealand Pavilion at Expo 2020, Britomart Transport Centre, Auckland Light Rail Transit, and the Eden Park Redevelopment for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

As Head of Knowledge and Innovation, Stephen Thurman leads Jasmax's specialist technical, BIM, legal and sustainability team. He provides tailored technical guidance and ensures technical quality and risk are managed across Jasmax's projects. With over 30 years' experience in architecture, Stephen has developed a deep knowledge of materials and systems and a broader commercial understanding of the design, construction and regulatory controls involved in delivering projects successfully.

Sue Marshall

Sue oversees the practice's day-to-day operations, including Jasmax's People and Culture team, which focuses on attracting new team members, enhancing the employee experience, safety and wellbeing, and professional development opportunities for staff. Prior to assuming her role as Chief Operating Officer, Sue led Jasmax's Knowledge & Innovation (K&I) team, which draws together leading specialists across the areas of contractual and technical delivery, sustainability, technology and digital innovation, and BIM process. The team captures and shares knowledge, investigates, tests and implements new processes and technologies across the business, enabling Jasmax to deliver quality projects for clients consistently. Sue was instrumental in defining and leading the firm's knowledge and innovation strategy. Originally from the UK, Sue arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2000, began working at Jasmax soon after and has never looked back. A registered architect, her broad architectural experience spans the transport, heritage, educational and cultural sectors.
