We are living in the generation that believes that school is not just a place where children learn to write and read alone but for their holistic development. La Reina has excellent infrastructure, right from classrooms to labs and other amenities. A harmony of modern emergence with the age old conception of true knowledge and wisdom is what the school offers. La Reina International School is a dream come true, built in the memory of a girl who shook the world of medicine and academics. My beloved sister, Sanghita Sen, lived life amidst of her ailment and left this world on 17th May, 2014. That was the most heartrending day for our family. Her dream was to meet Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and speak to him about the difficulties which the handicapped students faced during the examination, A month after her demise, I had a change through the school I was in grade 4 at that time.I penned down the vanished dream of my sister. I am ever grateful to the Principal of Bishop Cotton Boy's School, Bangalore for sending in my article to which Dr. Kalam Ji replied within 10 days that I could meet him wish my parents.In the month of October 2004, we visited Delhi and let him know that we were there after a day my father received a call that Dr. Kalam ji will meet us when that morning dawned, I was high up from the ground. We drove towards Rashtrapati Bhavan, as we got closer the security department enquired for my name and I felt prominent. Once we handed in our mobile and cameras, as gentleman fed us through the beautifully discounted half, we were well hosted and exactly at 1:30 pm, we were escorted towards the President's office.We greeted him and our discussions revolved around my loving sister and her ailment, the way she fought her way through triff 2004 living a successful and a completed life.
