UNLTD - Key Persons

Barny Revill

Barny emerged from Bristol University with a degree in Science and Film-making - the only such course in the country. Since then he has established himself as a key figure in the documentary making community - specialising in wildlife and babies. Some would say that the two genres require to same skillset from any Director…. Barny is used to working in some of the most inhospitable places on the planet (something that comes in handy when he manages to make it to The Emirates stadium….) and produced some truly eye-opening programming. Following on from the very successful BBC series "Earth from Space", Barny is currently directing a top secret Netflix show. More news when we get it…..

Brian Durnin

Brian started directing ads the day he graduated from film school in Dublin. That was about twenty years ago. Over time, his passion for food has helped Brian develop the knack of combining gorgeous photography with fresh and innovative shot-making. The food always looks delicious and the settings are stunning. His easy-going nature - aided and abetted by his gentle Irish brogue - helps puts actors at ease in front of the camera. And Brian's eye for detail and his conscientious approach to pre-production result in ultra-efficient shooting schedules that often cover more ground than anyone thought possible.

Chris Floyd

Chris has already carved out a very successful career as one the country's foremost portrait photographers. A flick through his portfolio is a chance to view some of the biggest names in British culture, fashion and entertainment. He has successfully transitioned to film-making, not least because his intimate approach and personable character allow his subjects to drop their guard in front of the camera. As a result, Chris has been able to capture people at their most real - leading to engaging and involving story-telling. With extensive contacts with the worlds of music and fashion, Chris has more celebrity anecdotes than you can shake a stick at. He's very discreet mind….

Colin Gregg

Colin enjoyed a successful career in television - specializing in directing hard-hitting cop dramas, brimful of car chases and fist-fights. He burst onto the advertising scene after directing the iconic Blackcurrant tango ‘St George' spot for HHCL and became one of the go-to comedy performance directors in London. A hundred or so commercials later and Colin still approaches each new project with a boyish enthusiasm - backed by a hard-bitten sense of practicalities instilled in him from his tv days. Strong casting, assured story-telling and the ability to land the gag every time have been consistent hallmarks of Colin's work throughout his career. We can almost excuse him for being a Gooner….

Jack Spring

Jack is 23 years old. He directed his first feature aged just 19. Astonishingly, he'd have directed it when he was younger - but the investors weren't interested. ‘Too young, not enough business experience' they said. Realising he needed to prove a point; Jack started an inflatable hot-tub business (yes - it is a thing). Grew it. Sold it. Went back to the investors. And secured the £150k he needed. "Destination Dewsbury" (now available on a platform near you) had its theatrical release in 2019. The pandemic has meant his next film - "3 Day Millionaire" - has been delayed until (hopefully) the Summer of 2021. And there's a further movie slated to shoot before the end of the year…..In the meantime he has a tv mini-series and a fistful of other business ventures to attend to. Jack's feverish desire and relentless enthusiasm fuels his work. His fast-paced, energetic ‘all you can eat' approach to film-making and his ridiculous level of optimism are a breath of fresh air. Jack is a lifelong "Mariner" - his trips to Grimsby Town FC are a regular test of his patience….
