Dan career path started in the building and civil engineering industry from there into the offshore oil and gas industry as a deep sea diver with Sub Sea International, Comex Houlder and Wharton Williams Taylor where he went on to develop re-breather technology, life support systems and underwater remotely operated vehicles, (ROV's) gradually moving into offshore operations covering all aspects of pipe line, cable lay and well head support.
Dan is a qualified Deep Sea Saturation Diver, Robotic Submarine Pilot and Engineer and has qualifications in welding, explosive cutting, and photography to name a few.
In addition to the aforementioned he has also developed his diverse technical and people skills in mine clearance, peace negotiation and farming, having worked with several universities and NGO's in many different countries and diverse cultures.
In the late nineties he focused his attention on improving the technology used to recover energy and charcoal from the coconut shell accelerating the development of renewable energy technologies in the Philippines working in part with Summa Alta Terra Industries Inc. and the Philippine Coconut Authority and in 1997 producing the first commercial scale syngas, carbon and hydrated lime production plant deriving the energy from the coconut shell.
This early work brought about the development of the prototype Fast Pyrolysis Reactor soon to be deployed in the renewable energy sector for the production of clean energy, activated carbon and biochar which he is fully engaged in the development of today as Chief Operations Officer of Pyro Yield Ltd.
A senior operational management professional with a proven track record of strategic leadership and operational management within the Food Industry. Experience of driving effective and efficient business practices through skills including leadership of 130 staff, full P&L accountability for £60 million turnover business, team development, quality management, service level control, project management up to £8 million, environmental and safety management, delivering exacting standards with a strong customer focus. Director of Society Dairy Technology, sat on Dairy UK Scientific & Technical committee, leadership of multi-disciplined cross-functional teams in wider Group Business projects. Wide-ranging, large scale capital investment and project management experience. 10 years experience of managing scope, design, purchase and installation of multiple, large investment capital projects
Neil started his career with British Petroleum working on improving polyethylene plant economics after having spent a year in industry with the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority examining fast breeder reactor plant failure rates. He then spent 15 years with the German chemical multinational Hoechst AG and latterly Sanofi Aventis in the UK and Germany, where he led global strategic planning and business development for key business sectors, production plant strategies and the planning of research and development direction. He went on to become Managing Director of Sanofi spin-out company Ceva Sante for the UK and Ireland.
Neil currently is site director for Forss Business & Technology Park, in Caithness which was established with EU and UK government backing to support the development of nuclear decommissioning engineering companies in the north of Scotland and to provide infrastructure for renewable energy commercialisation.
Neil holds a degree in Chemistry with combined process engineering and Business Studies BSc (honours) from the University of Salford, an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School with electives in Commercial Law and Finance, and is a member of the Energy Institute, the Institute of Directors, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing also being a Chartered Marketer.

Tim is a retired chartered engineer with degrees in engineering and economics. He worked in a number of different industries including shipping, manufacturing and contracting in operational, development and management roles.
