Health awareness is learning about diseases, symptoms and preventive measures. Increasing knowledge about a disease and its symptoms makes individuals more likely to go for screenings and testing as well as take early steps to address any issues that arise.The Klamath Basin Senior Citizens' Center is excited to continue hosting health promotion presentations on the Second Tuesday of the month to aid in improving health awareness. Presentations provide information about selected monthly health topics, including disease education, lifestyle changes, risk screening and available resources in the community. March is Save Your Vision Month, a time to prioritize our Eye Health.
