Ben joined CTS in October 2022 having spent the last 15 years in a variety of commercial roles in the manufacturing, TICC and consulting sectors. Prior to joining CTS, Ben was Commercial Director for the regulatory division Science Group Plc, a Cambridge based consultancy. He brings to CTS experience within the TICC sector as Commercial Director of Eurofins' food and water testing business in the UK and Ireland where he held responsibility for sales and marketing. In his earlier career he spent nearly ten years with Associated British Foods Plc within its sugar division across a variety of sales, strategy and corporate development roles. He has a proven track record of leading and driving sales performance, particularly within science or technically orientated businesses, through strong customer relationships and a passion for building long-term partnerships. Prior experience includes the commercial integration of acquired businesses, development of new service lines and establishing and implementing commercial strategy. Ben's biggest interest is creating a working environment which is challenging, rewarding and enjoyable! Outside of work Ben has previously reached the summit of all mountains in Wales, over 3000ft within 24hrs to raise money for charity as well as completing the 20 mile version of the ‘Rat Race'. Current activities are far less strenuous and involve playing cricket for a local club over the summer months, as well as the role of treasurer.

• Acting Managing Director for CTS Following the Acquisition

Stuart is Acting Managing Director for CTS following the acquisition of the business by Phenna Group. Stuart is employed by Phenna Group, joining in August 2021 having spent 18 years as a strategic Managing Director in the TICC sector. Prior to joining Phenna, Stuart was Managing Director of Eurofins Biomnis and Clinical Diagnostics in the UK and prior to this was Divisional Director at Element Materials Technology leading 14 sites delivering materials testing services to the Aerospace, Energy, Medical Device and General Engineering sectors. During his earlier career he was Managing Director of the global Aerospace Division with Exova Group plc and prior to this held numerous senior roles across different businesses within Exova. Stuart has a successful track record of delivering strategy and transformational change in the engineering and manufacturing industries. Originally with a degree science from Leeds University, he is an experienced director specialising in leadership, strategy formulation, performance management and operational execution. Aside from work, he is a sports fanatic following all sports from Boxing to NFL and is an avid Rotherham United season ticket holder of way too many years. When he has any spare time, he enjoys his passion for cooking and great food.
