BRAD GOODELL WEDDINGS

After 20 years of working as a commercial artist and illustrator, I transferred my skills and passion to glass engraving. Starting with architectural glass, I etched, engraved, and carved custom-designed doors, windows and cabinets for custom homes. Friends started asking for smaller pieces, vases and wine glasses, to commemorate special occasions. From there, a business of specialty glass and crystal evolved... All our glass art starts with an idea, which is designed and sketched on paper. When I've captured the design on paper, it is recreated in the computer. We use a cutter to cut the design into a vinyl resist. The resist is applied to the glass, and the design is carefully weeded out of the vinyl. Then we tape off the rest of the glass to avoid damage, and use a sand blaster filled with a very fine aggregate to engrave the design... About Brad Goodell and The Wedding Gallery -
