Audrey Gilbert

Audrey Gilbert is an associate attorney at Sul Lee Law Firm, supporting the firm's business transactional law and real estate practices. Audrey is an associate attorney in Sul Lee Law firm's transactional practice group. Audrey assists various types of businesses with their business needs involving formation, operation, and governance and represents buyers and sellers in stock, asset, and joint venture transactions. Audrey also regularly works on real estate transactions. Audrey attended the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana-Champaign, IL. Throughout law school, Audrey worked as a law clerk for one of the oldest law firms in Chicago and the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance (OCC-TEC) in Washington, D.C. Audrey was raised in South Korea and Germany. Upon receiving her bachelor's degree in international business administration from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Germany, Audrey moved to the United States. Audrey worked for a German aerospace and simulations manufacturer in the suburbs of Chicago for 9 years before pursuing her law degree. Audrey speaks fluent Korean and German. In her free time, Audrey enjoys cooking and baking.

Diren Singhe

Diren Singhe instills a philosophy based on client-centric legal representation rooted in legal ethics, simple pragmatism, and Abraham Lincoln's observation that the law is fundamentally the best reasoning of the wisest, applied over the ages "to the transactions and business of mankind." Following an early life spent all over the world from Europe to South America, California, and New York, Diren started his career as an executive at an energy industry startup in Houston before moving onto international commercial and intellectual property ligation, construction and design professional liability, fiduciary litigation, and then private company law. Diren is routinely called upon as an advocate in "bet the company" litigation and as trusted counsel in novel ventures. Having served a broad spectrum of local, national, and global clients for several years, Diren has for the past decade focused on the representation of entrepreneurs, mid-cap companies, professional practices, and expanding family businesses with a presence in the DFW area, providing advice and advocacy as these they go from little more than tentative ideas, to becoming critical providers of jobs, goods and services, to becoming leaders in their respective industries and the broader society. Diren has been active with various local Chambers of Commerce, serving on the board of the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber for several years, and has served on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the City of Dallas. In his spare time, Diren and his wife, a physician, are avid dog adoption advocates, sharing their home with several Basset Hounds and other rescues. Diren is also an avid road cyclist, and enjoys traveling to events throughout the country as well as overseas.

Dominique Williams

A New Orleans native, Dominique received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University New Orleans. After taking a gap year to move to Oakland, California, Dominique returned to New Orleans and continued her undergraduate education while also working full time to put herself through school. Following her undergraduate education, Dominique went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Tulane University New Orleans, where she focused primarily on corporate and intellectual property law. During law school, Dominique demonstrated her ability to balance her coursework with extracurriculars. Ms. Williams served as a member of Tulane's Black Law Student's Association Mock Trial Team, on which she competed both at a regional and national level. Ms. Williams also served as a member of Tulane's Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Ms. Williams' article, Problem Solved: Is the Fintech Era Uprooting Decades of Discriminatory Lending Practices?, in which she took a deep dive into the relationship between artificial intelligence and alternative lending, was published in Volume 23 of the Journal. Ms. Williams is new to the Dallas area, and enjoys shopping, trying different foods, and traveling in her spare time.

J. Spencer Young

J. Spencer Young is a Senior Associate Attorney at Sul Lee Law Firm. In assisting clients to obtain the best possible result, Spencer takes pride in working with clients and not just for them. Spencer combines his past work experience, an empathetic understanding, and an outside-the-box, yet practical approach to attack problems head-on. Born and raised in the heart of West Texas, Spencer attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government. Thereafter, Spencer attended Texas Tech School of Law, where he graduated in 2019. Spencer served as president of Texas Tech School of Law's Student Bar Association and as a Board Member of the Board of Barristers. He also practiced in the School's pro bono Civil Practice Clinic and was an active member of Texas Tech's advocacy program. His article, You Signed What With Whom? A Comparative Analysis of the Assignability of Covenants Not to Compete was selected for publication as in Volume VI of the Tech Law Business and Bankruptcy Journal. During his time in Lubbock, Spencer also graduated with his Master in Business Administration from Texas Tech Rawls College of Business. Spencer began practicing following passing the 2019 Texas State Bar exam in Dallas, Texas. His past civil litigation experience includes automotive liability, construction defect, insurance and insurers, general liability, medical malpractice, premise liability, and professional liability. He is a member of good standing of the Texas Bar and of each District of the Texas United States District Courts. Spencer is part of the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers ("DAYL"), and Texas Bar College. He was selected for membership as part of the 2021 DAYL Leadership Class. When not practicing law, Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs, Marley, Mia, and Murphy, exercising outdoors, and finding his next home improvement project.

Jian De Jesus

Jian Micah P. De Jesus was born in the Philippines and grew up in Miami, Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Chemistry from Florida International University. After taking a gap year to move and work at a local church in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jian decided to pursue a law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. During law school, Jian took part in SMU's Corporate Counsel Externship Program and worked at an in-house legal department of an architecture firm, conducting legal research, contract drafting, and more. She also studied abroad in London through Southwestern Law School's London International Entertainment Program, where she spent a summer learning entertainment law, as well as negotiating and drafting international entertainment contracts. Jian simply sought to learn and grow in the areas of business and intellectual property. While she served as a Staff Editor and later Lead Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review, she wrote an article entitled, *Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Probably the Secret Codes! *, which looks at the intersection between the trade secret rights of criminal justice technologies and the criminal defendants' privileges. Her article was chosen for publication in Volume 76 of the SMU Law Review Forum in March 2023. Shortly after passing the 2023 Texas Uniform Bar Exam, Jian began practicing as an associate attorney at Sul Lee Law Firm. When not practicing law, Jian enjoys reading at her favorite coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Yuri worked as a law clerk for our firm and after passing the 2023 Texas Uniform Bar Exam, she began practicing law as an associate attorney. She is a member of good standing of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Texas.
