The mission of the Clinical and Translational Research Unit (CTRU) is to provide resources for investigators in Georgia to conduct clinical and translational research with human participants with the goal of improving health through advancing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. The CTRU also aims to provide learning opportunities to students to gain valuable training and experience in clinical and translational research... Eight CTRU seed grants were recently awarded to investigator teams to start new clinical and translational research studies using CTRU resources.
