Vadodara Gas Limited (VGL), a Joint Venture Company (JVC) of GAIL Gas Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL India Limited) and Vadodara Municipal Seva Sadan (i.e., Vadodara Municipal Corporation) (VMC), was incorporated on September 13, 2013, to carry out the business of City Gas Distribution in the city of Vadodara and its adjoining areas. VGL provides safer, more convenient, economical, and environment-friendly fuel to every consumer segment, including households, commercial establishments, industries, and automobiles... VGL focuses on supplying LNG-based PNG to industrial units of Waghodia GIDC using a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal-based methodology. VGL has also initiated action for setting up an LNG dispensing facility for long-haul transport vehicles along the Golden Quadrilateral Corridor in Phase I at Por NH 48, for which a Gas Sales Agreement has been signed.
