WAYNE J SAND AND GRAVEL - Key Persons

Three generations of the Jones family have worked in the business and continue to honor Wayne's legacy. Wayne J is now owned and operated by Wayne's son, Brett. Brett's wife Laurie and their four children: Jackie, Dean, Erik and Launa have all worked at Wayne J through some capacity to honor their grandfather.

PRESENT: Brett's son, Erik, has taken on management duties for Wayne J. The fourth generation is up-and-coming as well, Erik's adorable daughter, Eve. The family continues its commitment to the Moorpark community, as well as developing eco-friendly methods and innovative products.

Wayne J was founded in the early 1960s by Wayne Jones, who was raised on a farm in Nebraska and worked in the construction industry. He married his wife, Lois, in 1951 and they moved to California. Wayne had the spirit of an entrepreneur and had long dreamed of starting his own business before developing the mining company which bears his name.
