Alessandro (Alex) Scarsini is the Co-Founder and President of Edgewater Markets.
Prior to co-founding Edgewater Markets, Alex was Head of the Hedge Fund Sales Desk across products at Deutsche Bank in New York. He has also held positions at Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO and Barclays where he managed trading desks, institutional sales, prime brokerage and E-commerce businessesover a career spanning more than 25 years.
Ben Rogan - Chief Compliance Officer

Ben Rogan is the Head of Compliance and Executive Director at Edgewater Markets Limited.
Ben joined Edgewater Markets Limited in 2023, bringing over a decade of financial and emerging markets compliance experience. Ben began his career offering consultancy services to a myriad of financial services firms including institutional banks, financial markets infrastructure providers, and broker-dealers before taking on senior internal compliance roles. Ben most recently worked as the Head of Compliance for an emerging markets investment bank.
Ben holds a BA in Politics from the University of York, an MA in International Relations from the University of Durham and an LLM in Law, with Distinction, from the Open University.
Chan Chong San is Managing Director APAC of Edgewater Markets and leads the firm's Singapore office.
Prior to joining Edgewater, Chong San served as the CEO of GFI Group Singapore where he doubled the firm's regional targeted revenue over a three-year period. He has also held positions at Nittan Capital, OCBC Bank, HSBC, UBS, and other firms. Over a career spanning more than 30 years in the region, Chong San has repeatedly spearheaded significant growth of FX trading volumes and revenues, and has deep experience in the NDF space.
Chong San earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Jeff Johnson is Chief Accounting and Control Officer at Edgewater Markets.
With over 25 years of extensive FX industry experience, Jeff joined Edgewater in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2017 and Chief Accounting & Control Officer in 2019.
Jeff previously worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was Vice President of FX Prime Brokerage. Before joining BAML, Jeff was a director in the derivatives prime services arm at Barclays Capital. Additionally, he was Vice President of Fixed Income Prime Services at Credit Suisse. Jeff has also held senior FX management positions at Currenex and CIBC. He began his career in the FX industry at Morgan Stanley.
Jeff earned his BA in Communication from the University of Connecticut.

Jose-Antonio Buenaño is the Head of Sales Americas.
Based out of Edgewater's Santiago, Chile office, Jose-Antonio brings a wealth of experience in the capital markets spanning over 20 years of industry expertise working for corporate and investment banks.
Prior to joining Edgewater Markets, Jose-Antonio was Head of Financial Institutions Derivatives Origination for Latin American clients at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York City. In 2015, he was CEO at Tanner Corredores de Bolsa, a securities dealer firm in Chile, after holding management positions in New York City at Credit Agricole and the Royal Bank of Scotland as Head of LatAm Sales. Jose-Antonio began his career at ABN Amro as Head of Corporate Sales building the Fixed Income Sales business for Chile and Peru.
Jose-Antonio earned an MBA at Schulich School of Business, York University, as well as a BS in Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Chile. He is an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Catolica's MBA program in Chile.

Joining Edgewater in 2011, Matt previously held the positions of Managing Director & Global Head of FX Liquidity and Global Head of FX Products. Matt's 25-year career includes senior roles at international banks, insurance companies and hedge funds, including senior trading and risk management positions at AIG, Dresdner Bank, ING Capital Markets, IDEA Global and Gellos Capital.
Matt earned his BA in Economics and Sociology from Gettysburg College, and postgraduate work at the New York Institute of Finance in Foreign Exchange Econometrics.

Raisa Roche is the Administrative Officer for Edgewater Markets globally.
Joining in 2022, Raisa Roche brings with her over 15 years of experience of supporting C-suite leadership and company operations within the technology, financial and global trade industries. Raisa has held several leadership roles, including at Apple Inc, where she oversaw a flagship team of technicians. Raisa worked on FactSet's wealth management software deployment for Merrill Lynch, and a joined Overseas Development Corp, an international exporter of specialty metals, for three years as an administrative officer.
Raisa Roche earned a Masters of Arts Degree from New York University in Psychology, graduating cum laude and her Psychology B.A. from the University of Connecticut, graduating summa cum laude.

Robert has over 25 years of extensive in-depth process knowledge in the electronic foreign exchange space. Prior to Edgewater, he held senior management positions, spearheading trading initiatives and eFX platforms at leading companies including Integral Development Corp and Currenex. His primary responsibilities encompassed driving growth and business.
Robert is a U.S. Army Veteran and holds a BS in Information Technology from DePaul University.
