blueEnergy is overseen by an international Board of Directors which provides governance and financial oversight. blueEnergy's International Board is made up of Nicaraguan, French, and American members. In addition, a Board of Directors in France provides financial oversight in Europe... blueEnergy is a diverse team of Nicaraguan, French, and American members working both locally and internationally to deliver basic services to some of the world's most isolated communities in cooperation with our local partner in Ethiopia, MCMDO. Our team in Nicaragua is made up of fifteen permanent staff members, each of whom is local Nicaraguan. Women make up the entire management team at blueEnergy Nicaragua, and over half of the staff are women... blueEnergy aims to improve the lives of people living in isolated regions of the world by working at the nexus renewable energy, water, sanitation, and hygiene, and food security within the context of a changing climate.
