Dr. Gurveena Parhar

Our team is led by Dr. Gurveena Parhar, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated in the top 10% of her class from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Parhar went on to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007 where she researched and published a paper on maternal child nutrition and the impacts on dental caries. Pediatric Dentistry is a specialization that requires 2 extra years of training beyond dentistry school. Dr. Parhar has extensive experience and is comfortable and confident working with children of all ages, personality types and medical conditions. She has practiced all areas of Pediatric Dentistry including sedation, general anesthesia, trauma, and interceptive orthodontics in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. She also enjoys teaching and was a part-time Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University, New York. While practicing on East Coast, Dr. Parhar was awarded "Top Dentist" awards as voted by families. She recently moved with her three children and husband to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and is excited to share her expertise in the area of Pediatric Dentistry with her patients. Dr. Parhar takes a relaxed and gentle approach to pediatric dentistry and looks forward to making your and your child's visit to the dentist comfortable and enjoyable. Dr. Parhar is currently an Affiliate Faculty with the School of Dentistry at the University of Washington and is teaching part-time at The Center for Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Mariella Garcia

Dr. Mariella Garcia obtained her DDS degree in Lima, Peru. She completed residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. As a member of the faculty of the School of Dentistry at the University of Washington and of the medical staff at Seattle Children's Hospital, she teaches dental students and residents the special care that children deserve in dentistry. Her passion and commitment for education and service to patients and families is the core of her professional life. She is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and has extensive training and expertise in the management and treatment of infants, children and adolescents. Dr. Mariella enjoys living in the Northwest, she is married to Brian she is the mother of Sophia and Enzo.
