Matthew has over 15 years of executive search experience with a focus on leadership and senior management positions. He started his career working for the largest executive recruitment firm in New Zealand. He concluded his time there as one of four Principal Consultants in the firm, with a mandate to originate, execute and handle all senior banking and professional services appointments. Matthew was then a founding member of a boutique firm where he continued to work for four years in the New Zealand market completing numerous senior appointments. In addition to a decade in the New Zealand market, Matthew spent three years in the United Kingdom working for a leading global Executive Search Firm. He focussed solely on Senior Partner and Fund Manager Appointments for the Hedge Fund Industry and subsequently headed the Hedge Fund Practice. Matthew is experienced in delivering on search mandates gained in the largest and most competitive market in highly demanding sectors. He has experience and skill in the most up-to-date search techniques and processes and has successfully completed assignments across a diverse range of functions and sectors.
