POLEBAUM ARBITRATION

While a partner at Fried Frank from 1989 through 2016, Mr. Polebaum established the Firm's worldwide international arbitration practice and headed it for more than twenty-five years while dividing his time between the Washington and Paris offices of the Firm. He appeared as counsel before arbitral tribunals throughout the world in more than 140 international cases... Elliot E. Polebaum has been recognized for the past 25 years as an authority in international arbitration. He has acted as arbitrator in numerous arbitrations worldwide, and is also a member of various international arbitration organizations and panels. He was a partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver Jacobson, where he established and led the Firm's international arbitration practice. He remains Of Counsel to the Firm, and also teaches international arbitration as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center.
