Raised in the South Puget Sound area, Alana is a graphic designer now conducting business from a small college town nestled in the Cascades. Alana has a passion for all things design, from her background in marketing for her alma mater at Central Washington University and work with their in-house street team, corporate branding and print for Johnson Barrow, and digital marketing for Winegar's Coffee.
When she's not illustrating or designing, Alana is obsessed with watching The Great British Baking Show with her partner, keeping one of her four cats off of her countertops, and espresso in all forms.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, Allison has been a copywriter for 20+ years, writing tens of thousands of pages', screens' and scripts' worth of marketing copy for corporations and organizations all over the world. As an author, Allison has written four books and is at work on her fifth, her first novel. Her most recent book, AFTERMATH: A Granddaughter's Story of Legacy, Healing & Hope, chronicled Allison's experience growing up as the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors in a family that struggled to heal for three generations.
