Counseling Approach: I am completing my MS in Professional Counseling as an intern in the CUW Counseling Center, and I also serve as a life coach and graduate admissions counselor on campus. After earning my bachelor's degree in communication (interpersonal/organizational/intercultural) from UW-Milwaukee, I took time off from school to get married and raise a family, which includes my five children, ages 12-20. Life is also a great teacher, as I have experienced many aspects of life stage development, relationships, and family dynamics along the way. I look forward to helping those with issues related to: dating and other relationships, conflict management, time management, grief, goal setting, career exploration, holistic health (mind/body/spirit), and development of self-concept.

Michael Casali

Counseling Approach: I have been a practicing counselor since 1992. My career has included work in public and private mental health settings, with children, adults, families, and couples. I draw on various treatment approaches, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic psychotherapy. My work focuses on helping individuals uncover and alter unhelpful patterns that contribute to suffering and unhappiness. I see "problems" as impasses in human development and opportunities for growth, both individually and spiritually.
