Lewis & Lambright Auctioneers & Real Estate was founded in 1944 by Winford J. Lewis. When Harvey Lambright returned from naval duty in the Korean War he joined the business. The two first became business partners and later became father-in-law and son-in-law when Harvey married Patricia (Pat) Lewis, Winford's daughter. Harvey and Pat made a great team and built the business into a LaGrange County powerhouse. What started as an auctioneering company later branched out into real estate and appraisals... From Lewis & Lambright's inception in 1944, auctioneering has been at the heart of what we do.
