MOM & POP'S DINER

Mom & Pop's Diner is a family owned, second-generation restaurant. Doug's Parents, Sidney and Sally Cramer owned their first successful restaurant in southern California before moving to Palm Springs and turning their business over to their son, Doug Cramer. Six months later, Sidney Cramer told Doug, "Retirement is Boring", and so he came back and worked with Doug for ten years. Doug followed in his parents footsteps as a successful restaurateur, opening two restaurants in southern California prior to the Cramer family venturing to northern Nevada... Doug and his dad, Sidney, opened Pop's BBQ in Carson City in 1995, getting its name from Doug's father. When Doug and Jamesa met in 1998, the second-generation Cramers officially took over.
