Alejandra Aguilera

Alejandra Aguilera, Esq. is the Founder and President of the Aguilera Law Center, P.A., a law firm dedicated to helping clients through advocacy, hard work and passion. Alejandra became a lawyer so that she could spend her life doing what she loves to do, helping others. She was born and raised in Miami by a single mother who worked hard as a paralegal. Alejandra grew up learning the value of hard work by watching her mom raise two young children on her own and still have time to volunteer as an immigrant advocate.

Ashley Gonzalez

Ashley Gonzalez is currently completing her bachelor's degree in business administration. She has over 9 years of experience within the legal field including traffic, criminal cases, and family law. Ashley assists clients and ensures that they are comfortable, and their needs are met. She is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. Ashley is the first person that clients interact with, and she guides them through the intake process. Her favorite hobbies include traveling, baking, and taking her dog Tobi to the park.

Karla Arellano Carlo

Karla Arellano Carlo has over fifteen (17) years of experience in the legal field, including family law, foreclosure Defense and Immigration Law. She received her associate in science degree in Paralegal Studies from Keiser College. Mrs. Carlo is fluent in Spanish and English. Mrs. Carlo assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. She is attentive to clients' individual needs, very detail-oriented and a team player. In her spare time, Karla enjoys cooking for her family, relaxing with her dog max, and watching movies with her daughters.

Melissa Ramos

Melissa graduated from Florida International University in 2019, obtaining her Paralegal Certificate. She has been a part of the TALC team as of 2020. She is a proud mother to two boys. Melissa is detail-oriented, a careful listener, compassionate, and always eager to help our clients. Melissa has a passion for family law. She has a great passion for supporting clients through the difficulty of navigating family matters. With a warm personality and ability to multitask, you can count on Melissa to lessen the stress of the process of your case. When she is out of the office, she enjoys spending her time with her family, being a foodie, reading, and using her Notary Commission to complete all types of loan signings.

Nicole M. Torres. Esq.

Nicole M. Torres. Esq. is the Associate Attorney at the Aguilera Law Center, P.A. From a young age, Nicole had a strong interest in social injustices and fairness. She became an attorney to respond to her call to help people through their hardest time of need. Nicole was born and raised in Puerto Rico, by her parents, who taught her the importance of helping others and giving back to the community. Her father was the Chief Financial Officer of a cement construction company that provided services all over the island. Her mother volunteered to organize galas fundraising money for research and outreach support for AIDS and Breast Cancer organizations. In 2001, her family moved to Miami in search of better educational opportunities for Nicole. As Nicole worked full time, she attended evening classes and obtained her bachelor's degree in English Literature from Florida International University. She studied and received her law degree from Florida International University College of Law. During her law school career, she made the dean's list several times and clerked for judges at different State courts and the Federal District Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Nicole was co-founder and president of the Marijuana Law Society, which provided updates of the tumultuous legal landscape to students and professors at her university. She spearheaded collaborative efforts for the Marijuana Law Society to give pro bono legal assistance alongside criminal attorneys helping people expunge their records of marijuana convictions in the tri-county area. During law school, Nicole also worked at The Aguilera Law Center as a paralegal assisting in civil, criminal, and family cases. Soon after graduating law school, she had a beautiful daughter. As she cared for her newborn daughter, Nicole studied and passed the Florida Bar. The Aguilera Law Center welcomed her back with open arms in 2024 as an Associate Attorney.
