Founded in 1999, under the expertise of its Executive Director and Founder, Sean LaCon, BMI began providing businesses interested in employing individuals with barriers to employment with qualified personnel from the New York Tri-City area. Today, BMI has expanded into New Jersey and has been able to place thousands of formerly incarcerated individuals and disadvantaged workers into competitive employment. We are successful because of our performance-based model, which ensures that payment to BMI is made only when participants obtain verifiable milestones i.e., 30, 60, 90, and 180 days retained employment. Throughout the years, BMI has consistently maintained a retention rate of at least 70 percent for total placement retained for 180 days. Our years of experience, working with various funding streams and meeting all compliance procedures, have maintained our organizational structure.
