Eleanor Lynch is the Director of Operations at De Fonte Law. She has worked with Patricia for four years, with just over 3 of those years being just the two of them. In 2021, De Fonte Law PC saw great changes as Patricia hired Nadya Spivack, and our team of Freedom Makers expanded to support our growing client base. She loves working with strong women who work hard every day to support families and preserve family harmony. As a mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and cousin in a big family, she was raised that family comes first. For Eleanor, working at the firm brings her joy because supporting families is at the heart of what we do. When she is not working at the firm, Eleanor loves exploring new places, running, and spending my days driving around her four kids to their sports practices (what free time)? Jokes aside, she loves her big family, dressing up at Halloween, and supporting all her favorite nonprofits.

I have been an estate planning and trust administration attorney since 2014. I graduated from Golden Gate University where I was a published member of the Law Review and received a specialization certificate in family law. Estate planning is often a challenging and emotional process as it encompasses some of the most intimate decisions an individual can make. It is important to me to build a personal relationships with each client. By really getting to know them I can effectively help navigate them estate planning decisions with compassion, empathy and understanding. Outside of work, you can find me cuddling and playing with my favorite English bulldog, Monty, while listening to Garth Brooks in the background. I also enjoy crafting, traveling to the National Parks and reading a good book. If you are ever looking for a good book though, I can tell you from experience, unless you have ten years and a love of obscure fish, you can skip Moby Dick!

I have been an attorney since 2002, and most of my career was spent as a litigator and trial attorney. This gave me expertise in risk mitigation and the "PhD in Paranoia" that Patricia and I share. At De Fonte Law PC I work with families to help them avoid litigation and promote family harmony. One of the many reasons I love my job is interacting with clients to learn about their personal stories. It is important to me to tailor estate plans to meet each client's unique needs. I grew up in San Diego, where I currently live with my young family. My family and I love mountain biking, hiking, outdoor nature activities, and chilling out at the beach. I really wish I could rollerblade (like my children) but I'm too afraid of breaking bones. I come from a large family, so when I'm not outside, I spend a great deal of time with my nephews, nieces, and friends. Nadya Spivack has been an attorney since 2002. Her background and vast litigation experience has given her expertise in risk mitigation. She is passionate about working with families to help them avoid litigation, which makes her an integral part of our team. Nadya enjoys interacting with clients to learn about their personal stories. She tailors estate plans to meet each clien'ts unique needs. Nadya lives in San Diego with her young family. I am an estate planning attorney and the founder of De Fonte Law PC. I started this firm to offer what I think of as estate planning with heart. I wanted to create a better experience for my clients to preserve family harmony, empower their heirs, and thoughtfully reflect their values. My dedication to estate planning and my clients has led me to receive the honor of being selected to the 2021 San Francisco Super Lawyers list, and I recently won the 2021 BBB Torch Award for Ethics in the San Francisco Bay Area. When obtaining my LL.M. in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration from Golden Gate University, the federal exclusion rate (the amount of money you can have before federal taxes apply) jumped to $23 Million. Not many people have anywhere close to that amount of money. My professors quickly changed the conversation from TAX TAX TAX to help the client in every way possible - by reviewing their insurance, by making sure they have terrific financial advisors and CPA's, and by helping them create plans that let their personalities and goals for their loved ones shine through. Golden Gate University has social justice as a core mission, and at my firm it is a core value. Estate planning is intellectually stimulating and emotionally satisfying. I love what I do!

I have worked as an estate planning attorney since 2014 and I really enjoy the practice. At heart, I am a helper. I am the person my family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers turn to for advice and, well, help! And I love being that for people. Which is why estate planning is the perfect fit for me since helping you plan for your loved one's future is so deeply important. On a more personal note, I am an animal advocate, film and television junkie, and part-time singer with Vox Femina Los Angeles. As a self-described geek, I love doing puzzles, playing board games and video games, and building Legos. My family also loves Disneyland and you'll find us there at least once a month.
